Positive: We had a truly amazing week at villa Ane. The friendly hosts met us with keys and took us for a brief tour. They had stocked the fridges with some soda snacks and as well as rakija (local spirit) and the most amazing sherry. And the house ... I mean, I've been to more luxurious houses, but very seldom to such beautiful surroundings. You have a beautiful mountain view from the veranda and leafy trees as far as you can see. It's really quiet and sitting there, listening to the cicadas, seeing the swallows dive for insects felt like a course in mindfulness by itself. I might also add that there was surprisingly few mosquitos and none came out before nightfall. This was a great plus for us since our last houses (in France though) have been riddled by mosquitos even in daytime.

Negative: During hot days, a lot of bees, and bee imitating flies comes to the shallow end of the pool to drink. Among them are also sometimes wasp. However, if you use the pool until eleven and then leave it during the worst hours (when you probably shouldn't be out in the sun anyway) and return later, almost all of them will have gone away. In the evenings they are completely gone.

Positive: The villa is great! The best place is the patio with Barbecue at the Pool. The perfect place for late night drinks. The owners are easy to talk to and make you feel welkome. Would definitely recommend this to everybody.

Positive: Villa owners are very nice people. Very good contact and quick answers. The villa has all the amenities to make you feel comfortable. A barbecue area with a large table for 12 people very pleasant. Perfect for evening meetings, dinners and breakfasts outdoors. There was a mini playground for ball games, as well as for babinkton and volleyball. The owners also provided three bicycles. Pool cleaned early in the morning every two or three days. Pool dimensions 8 × 4x1.5. Thank you for a great place to relax 😉.

Positive: We had one of our best vacations ever. The house/apartments and garden/terrace and pool area were just perfectly equiped and in very good condition. Even the little things as garbage bags, kitchen utensils were provided. The hosts were amazingly friendly and besides all those little things you will need in a holiday house they even made sure our children were save (considering the pool) and well entertained (they especially got a trampoline and a slide/swing). Otherwise well equipped with sports utensils as soccer goals, play balls and volleyball court, and bicycles, plus a fridge and music entertainment at the pool. The totally comfortness of the apartment such as the cleanliness I don’t even have to mention. The best was the perfect view and the quietness. Lots of nature to see and friendliness by neighbors and in the next bigger town Drnis. Only 40 minutes away from the sea. Krka national park even closer and amazingly beautiful. Plus the hills surrounding the little village (which is so quiet it took us a while to find out there were even more neighbors hiding behind the trees and so far away you can only hear a chicken from time to time). Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, in the summer time perfect for relaxing and in the spring or autumn perfect for exploring the area by foot or bicycle. We will definitely come back!
