Positive: Very nice interior. The „living room“ is outstanding and invite still stay and relax. The reception took all measures to make our late arrival easy and arranged a breakfast waiting in the fridge as we had to leave early the next day.

Summary: Excellent, can 100% recommend.

Positive: What an excellent little hotel! All little details were takeng care of: from breakfast room interior to towels waiting for us by the pool. We would have loved to stay for longer as this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had for a while.

Negative: The breakfast selection could have more variety, such as greens (cucumber, avocado, lettuce) and healty options (smoothie?). Also, the walls seemed to be quite thin. We didn't have issues with this but maybe if the hotel was full it would have been different.

Summary: We found this as a little oasis in a middle of the cute village of Alter do Chão. Loved it!

Positive: Very nicely renovated building with amazing common lounge area, all tastefully decorated. Bedroom was spacious and well equipped. Bed was very large and comfortable. Even though the listing on Booking stated that the hotel did not offer wifi or parking, it offered both at the time of our stay (we were the only guests). It has three reserved parking spaces for guests outside the front door and off the the main road. Wifi was good in the evening when we arrived. Staff was very helpful, explaining in detail the hotel's facilities. Breakfast (eaten in the lounge) was self service (in the kitchen area) with a range of options, including, at our request, gluten free options. The town's sights and old streets were within easy walking distance. It exceeded our expectations.

Negative: Wifi did not work late in the evening or in the morning!

Summary: Very good experience in a newly renovated building near the centre of Alter do Chao
