Positive: The location was adequate as we rented to stay close to the ferry for Bunny Island. They were the only game in town and maybe charged more than what the accomodation was worth. It was a large house, main for had 2 beds and upstairs had 2 beds.

Negative: Didn't realize that there wasn't wifi...I guess I assume everyone has it now a days. There was also no hot water. I understand the reason for no towels, I guess, but not even a dish towel to dry the dishes. Microwave was very dirty/stained and smelled like al the meals that have been cooked in it. It was pretty cold when we were there and the only heat source was in the living room and main for bed room. Kitchen and bathroom was very cold.

Summary: Larger than average Japanese style house I'd say but no hot water or wifi.

Negative: Only one air-con on the 1st floor in the living room and extended to the bedroom area is not enough. No air-con in the dining area and the open kitchen. If added an air-con in the dining area, it would be perfect!

Positive: Very authentic Japanese style house. You can cook some hearty meals with your grub and family here. Also the environment makes you sleep well.

Negative: The second floor is a bit creepy, might need to put more lights and change the decor. Also there’s some distance from the JR station to the stay, prepare your own car or call a taxi or walk.

Positive: It was great to stay in a real Japanese home. It was comfortable and had a large kitchen and quirky bathroom. A short walk to the Rabbit Island Ferry. We all loved our time here and it was good value.

Negative: Perhaps a little rough around the edges here and there in a typical Japanese way. Nothing bad. If you want perfection I suggest you pay more.

Summary: Like a real Japanese home! Great value and beautiful location.
