Positive: The location was peaceful. It was very close to the beach and there were some beautiful trails. The Villa was spacious and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and air con was quiet. We enjoyed the pool area and the hot tub. The property was close to a couple of tavernas and bars. The electric scooters were fun and we used them to scoot the back lanes.
Negative: Nothing. It had everything we needed.

Positive: Stunning villa, beautifully appointed, well designed, gracious hosts with absolutely everything close at hand, to relax and enjoy your holiday in Crete. We bbqed, swam, relaxed, wandered and the girls loved the electric scooters. I would definitely stay here again. The villa is private and we enjoyed the separate room/villa/retreat, bonus!! The whole property is well maintained and Alexandros has thought of everything. Greek hospitality/filoxenia that makes Greece a tourism mecca, Thank you to Alexandros and his family for their warmth and caring. See you again soon.

Positive: the villa was beautiful and well maintained. Unlike other villas we have stayed at it was well stocked with supplies and essentials. Alexandros welcomed us with a fridge full of fruit, coffee, beer and wine.

Positive: The Villa has a modern, well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were all of good size and en suite. It was perfectly clean on arrival. It was cleaned mid week with new bed linen which we weren’t expecting but was excellent. It is private, there is a villa next door but you are not really aware of the guests there and we were not overlooked. The pool was lovely and clean on arrival and cleaned during our stay. There is a large built in barbecue outside. The location is great. The views of the mountains from the garden very impressive. 5 mins walk to a beach with mixed sand/stones. Beautiful views there at the fish restaurant (Sargos)- where we ate in and loved and was very good value and the taverna where we had cocktails at and that offer beach loungers and umbrellas. Our host Alexandros was truely exceptional and incredibly generous. He checked in to confirm all well on several occasions, he never came empty handed- with local delicacies and fresh fruit for us. There were oranges for juicing (and a juicer) which were delicious in the morning with coffee (nespresso in the kitchen). Honestly for us he is a legend! We liked the location, good supermarket and butcher in Kissamos, 10 mins away, ( We would recommend a private boat trip from there to Ballos beach, though not cheap),35 mins to Vallarsarna beach, 55 mins to Elefonisi beach (go early!). Chania 25-30 mins by car/taxi.
Negative: Nothing. This is a lovely property and with a car gives good access to the key western beaches and Chania.
Summary: Excellent property overseen by the most attentive /generous host in a good location
