Positive: The reception staff were wonderful. We had to leave before the breakfast started, so they packed ham and cheese toasties, fruit, and juice for all of us to go. The bed was comfortable.

Negative: Parking and the leaky shower. The hotel was on a very busy main road and the parking was about 1km further down the road, but you don't learn this until you check in and then I had to move the car from the temporary parking space and it was very difficult to make the left turn with all the traffic. The hotel gate is locked at night, so we had arranged for them to open the gate so we could pick up the car and load it up with luggage in front of the hotel. That morning I realized that I needed to get the car about 20 min earlier so we wouldn't be rushed, but I didn't realize that you cannot even depart the premises on foot unless the gate is open. We sat waiting in the lobby for the staff to arrive at 0630 to open the gate as promised. The building hasn't been updated in a very long time and the shower leaked a lot of water onto the floor and it even spread to the bedroom floor. We were only there one night in order to pre-position for the early flight from Fiumicino the next day, but next time I would just drive straight to the airport hotel or there's a Novotel about 30 min from the airport off the ring road that is very comfortable.

Positive: The hotel is located on a congested street in a hodge-podge of a town, but there's free parking available, which is a plus. The breakfast was decent, as was the wifi.

Negative: The management is off-putting and the room was dark and on the small side. Not much in the way of amenities.
