Positive: We have traveled extensively in our lives and our stay at Vila Sofija has been one of the best. The chalet is beautiful, brand new, and is in a great location. We were also impressed with the craftsmanship of the house. It is very comfortable. Relaxing, and sitting on the porch overlooking the mountains couldn’t be better.  The house was well equipped and had everything for a very nice stay. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom mattress was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower, AC on the main level, and there was satellite TV. The owner Nada, was very friendly and informative. The chalet is a short distance from the main road down a country lane. It is in a very peaceful location and a five minute drive to the small town and train station. The restaurant at the train station serves good food. It is best to dine there when the train is not departing or arriving, fewer people. The location of the chalet is in a good place to explore the Tara national Park. There are screens on most of the windows for fresh air. Our stay was exceptional.

Positive: A very well appointed new build chalet located in semi rural setting with amazing views. Think of The Sound of Music. The host, Nada, was exceptional in helping us settle. She even booked us the Sargan 8 train tour that are normally sold out week in advance for a Sunday trip. Would definitely return here if we are in the area.

Positive: The owners are super helpful and they even help my mother in law with a free drive to nearby Drvengrad while we we Rafting in Bosnia. The beds are extremely comfortable on upper floor and Lodge is super warm and cosy.
Negative: I would recommend since I am coming from the hospitality industry a very cool gadget like a rocking chair next to the fire place
