Positive: The location is absolutely fantastic, right by the sea and close to the Strunjan salt pans. It’s an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful walking trails in the area. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during the stay. One of the highlights is definitely the breathtaking view of the open sea.

Negative: Sadly, the cleanliness of the apartment was a major disappointment. There were hairs on the sheets, the blankets had a smell of dogs, and there was dust everywhere. The sinks were full of limescale, and the common areas of the house were poorly maintained and dirty. The front door didn’t lock, which was concerning. I would not recommend staying here during the colder months, as the only heating is through the air conditioning, and the area feels deserted and dark after 5PM. The price is far too high for the standard offered, as aside from the exceptional view, there are no standout features. With more attention to cleanliness, the experience could have been much better.

Summary: Poor cleaning but with great view.

Positive: The view from apartment you'll never forget. It is situated on territory of existing Hotel, so its infrastructure can also be used. Great restaurant in 10min walk and beach next to the house.

Positive: Modern, sleek apartment in prime location overlooking the beach and bay on too floor of an apartment building in Strunjan. Parking free on hotel grounds with owner‘s parking card, pool and beach free to use and beach mats available at the apartment. Beach loungers and parasol can be rented at the beach. We loved the balcony and winter garden but they were too hot in the morning for outside breakfasts. Comfy bed and quiet, well working aircon. Good restaurant and nicer, shadier beach and better bathing area on the opposite side of the bay, some 10 min on foot from the apartment. Very friendly, helpful and responsive owner. Apartment had all we needed. To reach Piran by bicycle is a very hilly ride along the coastal road. Bus to town leaves 1.2 km from the complex at the end of the salt pans. Parking in Piran is a nightmare in summer, much more quaint and quiet and affordable in Izola.
