Positive: Instantly the reception staff went above & beyond to fulfil an error on my part. I thought I'd added an extra day at the beginning of our holiday & two days at the end when in fact I hadn't added the day at the beginning. After having driven almost 400miles, as you can imagine I was tired & distraught as to what we'd do. Without hesitation receptionist said don't worry we will get you sorted some way or another. Luckily on checking our caravan was empty for that day but was yet to be cleaned, so she instantly called the cleaner asked if she could clean our caravan next. She told us to go into cafe get a coffee & she'd call us when it was ready. We arrived at 12, by 1.15 we got a call saying we could check in. Considering the check in should have been 4pm this was a great relief they also allowed us early check in as we'd been travelling since 4am. Every staff member has greeted us as if they already know us, we weren't treated any different to their own caravan owners. Such a friendly park we soon were made welcome too by owners. The Park definately has a family feel. Also to add whilst we were waiting for our caravan we asked if they were still doing breakfast, reply unfortunately not we'd just missed time, but they said they could rustle up a bacon/egg butties. When the cook was asked to do this, she said aww I'll do you a full breakfast. Everyone goes beyond their duties.

Positive: Staff on arrival were lovely. Pool was nice. Caravan was good.

Negative: We booked because we were attending The Open golf tournament and the location was nearby. Unfortunately the brochures said the kitchen was open until 11pm in the Sunday (which was the day we went to the golf) so we were expecting to be able to get something to eat when we returned at 9.30pm. We went over to the club house & were informed that the kitchen was closed. We didn’t have any food with us and were very tired so didn’t need to go looking for somewhere to dine. For this reason I don’t think we will book with you again.

Positive: Breakfast voucher. Good breakfast set us up for the day. Close to where we needed to be. Good Indian next door.

Positive: The caravan was very modern and completely spotless, also the staff couldn’t have been nicer and readily available.

Negative: We found the facilities to be a bit disappointing. The arcade is small which isn’t a problem however a lot of the games were taking money and not working or else half of them were turned off. Also the small pub area was the only part open and there was nothing on at night for entertainment etc.

Summary: Lovely caravan however lacking things to do

Negative: Property was lovely however the communication between the property via booking.com was horrendous.. once I got clear instructions to get into the caravan and check in etc we had a lovely stay
