Positive: Wanted to stay one day at Charleroi and then take a plane next day. Therefore, location was the most important factor. Did not bother finding place close to the airport as I don't think you can walk to the airport. If you need to take city bus location near the railway station can be one of the best as A1 bus runs every 30 min. Room was very big, although could be organized better as there were no chair and the whole table was occupied by TV that was supposed to be attached to the wall. Little kitchen was fine and fridge was handy as it was hot outside.

Negative: Bad smell in the bathroom, but fortunately it did not affect the room. Complete absence of soap (even soap, we are not talking about shampoo or bath gel) was really a bad surprise. Probably the first time I see something like that in my travel. even the cheapest places usually provide such basic thing.

Positive: It was close to the station and it was cheap.

Negative: It was not clean and there was no private bathroom. Unfortunately the guests in the room next to me were talking very loudly untill 2:00 in the night, which is of course not the fault of the host.
