Positive: Close to Big Bend NP and restaurants in Terlingua. Nice house with enough space.

Negative: One of the bedrooms (with a bunk bed) had no curtains. The outdoor chair cushions were either missing or damaged. The fridge, along with some glasses and silverware, was not clean when we arrived, so we cleaned them ourselves. There were also not enough towels initially, but this was resolved the next day after we contacted the host.

Positive: Location was awesome! Just outside of the little town of Terlingua. Very peaceful and lots of space to explore.

Negative: The key was in the lockbox, but there were two entrances and it wasn’t clear (when we arrived at night) which door to enter. The back door deadbolt was not aligned properly which means it did not latch and it didn’t feel super secure. That door opened to a bedroom with bunk beds (naturally where the kids would stay), and the entire top of the door was a window… not cool! We used the magnetic curtain rod (thank goodness for that!) to hang a towel to block the outside. Also the WiFi was awful.

Negative: No supply of basic hair shampoo/conditioner. If the website describes that, visitors can be more prepared.

Negative: Price was a little high for two people I think, but house and Keith were great. And the location was great and really close to Big Bend. Restaurants were lacking but it was in the desert.

Positive: The place was perfect and comfortable! Ryan, the property manager was more then helpful and we had a great time! I went with my 2 sons that are both in college! This was one of those trips that I wanted to happen before they started a family of their own and we were all due for a vacation!!!! Excellent 0lacw to stay and we will definitely be coming back again!!!!
