Silver Rock is a fully equipped vacation rental that offers a true “Up North” Michigan feel. It offers 650 sq ft of living space, 648 ft of private lake frontage with a 14 ft boat, a canoe, a paddleboat, a swim/fish platform and dock included for your use. A private firepit (wood provided at no cost) is also included. You can Fish, Hunt, Hike, Bike, ORV, Canoe, Kayak, Golf, Casino, Birdwatch or just relax. Push off our shore in your Kayak and in 2 hours you arrive Lake Huron. Directv is a touch away for the rainy days. We have an excellent “dark sky” for star gazing.
There are thousands of acres of state owned land nearby that are also available for your use. “A sportsmen’s paradise”!
Silver Rock is available the last week in May through the second week in October.
Fishing season opens the last Saturday in April.
Ocqueoc Lake is a no wake lake!

Summary: Everything about our stay was wonderful.....extremely clean, all that we needed....bed was great, we couldn't have wanted more. The owners live next door and made us feel like old friends as well as helpful in suggesting places to visit. We will definitely stay there again. Summary: The secluded cottage on Lake Ocqueoc was exactly as described. Anyone seeking solitude in a peaceful setting should definitely consider this property. The owners, Steve and Vickie, are right next door, but unless you need something they truly respect your privacy and are seldom seen. The cottage itself comfortably sleeps four, and contains plenty of the modern conveniences to make for a very pleasant stay. We definitely would like to return next year, and anyone who stays there will understand why. Thanks again to our terrific hosts.

Summary: This place is absolutely beautiful! The cabin/cottage is perfect for a couple or for a small group. You won't find a more peaceful and serene place in northern Michigan for this price point. The owners were amazing and very helpful pointing out tips for the lake and property during our stay. We were in the area for our wedding so we had limited time to enjoy the lake as we had a bunch of our family members in the area that we spent time with. We will definitely be back for another stay in the future. The owners are very accommodating and go way out of their way to make sure you have everything needed to make your stay a memorable experience. Vicki's artwork in the cabin is unbelievably accurate and portrays the area lanscape in a very mezmerizing fashion.

Summary: We had the privilege of spending three delightful nights at Steven and Vickie’s quaint cottage. Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. As stated in the listing, the home is located on a small, secluded, “no wake” lake. It’s a beautiful slice of nature and we loved sitting on the deck listening to the birds and watching the water. A short distance from the “Big Lake” meant that we were close enough to travel to see and enjoy the area. Steven and Vickie are seasoned hosts who have this down to a fine art. They have managed to find that sweet spot of being attentive and responsive hosts without being intrusive. The cottage has been lovingly maintained over the years and brought back fond memories of similar cabins and cottages from my childhood. We were comfortable and slept well listening to the loons and geese on the water. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking to get away from it all and relax. It won’t disappoint! We hope to return sometime in the future to continue our exploration of this wonderful area.

Summary: Stayed here with my husband and 14 year old daughter. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the back deck and watching the lake. My husband caught a pike his first night and we loved watching the birds at the feeder. Our hosts Steve and Vicki were so kind and were quick to answer any questions we had.Would definitely recommend staying here. We left feeling so relaxed and were sad to go.

Summary: Property was secluded just as advertised with lots of wildlife as a bonus.Steve was a very welcoming host while still giving us space. He also went out of his way to show us little extras and even let me borrow his battery charger as my I had forgotten mine for my trolling motor. Overall, my family and I had a great time on this property.
