Positive: The wood-fired sauna and lakeside location were highlights.
Negative: I would have liked somewhere to sit by the lake. The photos showed the best cabin. Mine (Owl) did not have a direct view of the lake.

Positive: Great location in the nature. A lot of hiking tracks (including amazing Repovesi national park) close by. Cottage was right next to a beautiful lake and the host gave a freedom to use a lot of equipment, including boat etc. Host was welcoming and friendly. I was staying with a friend for a couple of days and it was very comfortable for 2 persons, we had a great stay.
Negative: Sauna could have been a bit more comfortable for my liking, a bit small and gets really hot really quick. Needs some time to get used to.
Summary: Great place for stay if you are looking for a relaxing cottage in great nature away from the crowds.

Positive: Lovely location, calm area, visit to Verla worthwhile, have a coffee at the old mill and chat with Tony Tavi if you need anything (travel arrangements, expeditions, tips and tricks, etc). The host was friendly and helpful.
Negative: Cleanliness could have been better, beds not very comfortable, tap water comes out of a well and has a strong sulfur odour (so bring drinking water; a bottle of 5 liter was provided). The photos on booking.com are all of the largest cabin (there are 3) but chances are you’ll get another cabin that seems less appealing.

Positive: Cottage was spacious and in a very nice place. Own sauna, by the lake.
Negative: Water from tap was undrinkable and stinky. After a shower you smell like rotten eggs. Toilet worked very poorly and blocked easily. Mice inside the cottage were not our preferred roommates.
