Summary: The house is in a quiet neighborhood of well kept properties. The home feels very private. Even though there are homes on each side, the bushes enclose the backyard. We swam every day in the pool. The house was immaculate. The grounds are trimmed every week. The pool is serviced every week. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Summary: The property was fantastic. John was very responsive, personal and very timely in communications. Venice is fantastic town, lots of nice parks, restuarants. Perfect location, could walk/bike anywhere. Nice bikes included. Pool/Lanai was big and breezy. Private beach parking. Public golf course nearby and fun for any skill level. Home is warm, quaint and well equipped. Definitely interested in returning. Lots interesting easy day trips/hiking/Spring Training Baseball. Thanks!

Summary: The home was clean, well maintained and well-equipped. The pool is wonderful and a feature of the property. The beds are comfortable with nice mattresses. It is super convenient, just a couple of blocks from Golden Beach and convenient to downtown Venice.

Summary: I loved staying at John’s house for the winter months. Located on Golden Beach, it is an easy walk or bike ride to the private beach access. 4 bikes are provided and I rode most days around the Venice area and bike trail. The heated pool is amazing and the sun beams down as you swim. Sitting under this same Lanai at night provides awesome views of the moon and stars. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well equipped for cooking. John was completely receptive and available for any questions. I highly recommend this property.

Summary: The house was clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were well appointed with everything you need. The lanai was a great location to work remotely and take an occasional swim. Nice quick walk to the neighborhood beach, and easy drives to several others in the vicinity. Thanks for an awesome home away from home!

Summary: The spacious 2 bedroom and two bath home was what we were looking for in a vacation rental property. The House was immaculate with plush bathroom towels and a very comfortable king sized bed. The pool was crystal clear and large enough to swim laps. The screened-in pool and lanai area were perfect for mild, bug free summer evenings. In fact, we ate all of our meals out there. The quiet, peaceful beach is an easy three minute drive or ten minute walk (we stroll) from the house. The main business streets of Venice were a five minute drive from the house, featuring good restaurants and all your shopping needs. We especially enjoyed the following restaurants, providing excellent service and good meals: Cafe Venice, Made in Italy, The Crows Nest, and Cassariano. The owner's representative was only a few blocks away and was available should any need arise. We definitrely recommend this home. We enjoyed our two weeks there and will definitely return.

Summary: My wife and I stayed here for Xmas it was beautiful weather the house was very clean and is like home away from home. The notes and info about the home functions were simple to follow and John was very helpful and accommodating on any questions we had. The beach was a 5 minute walk and a 2 minute bike ride. The pool is big heated and relaxing and private we didn’t see a sole while we were there the property has lush tropical greenery that provide the ultimate privacy. From the home We could even hear the gulf of Mexico waves rolling onto the beach very pleasant surprise. This house was a great gem to find I hope others will enjoy staying there as well. My parents live in Venice and it gets busy at their home when family is in so me and my wife will stay at flamingo and we will definitely be back again!!!!!!!
