Summary: The place was horrible inside. The bathroom ceiling even had a leak. It smelled awful. They put us in a room near the road; we could hear all the traffic! The carpet was sticky and had lots of stains. Totally disappointed. From the outside, the hotel is nice, and that's what it shows. The rooms and the hotel itself look very neglected inside.

Summary: Clearly in transition. Which is fine but we didn’t know how poor the conditions were. Simply wiping surfaces and a little cleaning would help. Staff was very unwelcoming. We way overpaid for this experience.

Summary: Took 90 minutes to check in. There was a problem with their system. The photos they have in website are false advertising. The restaurant has been closed since 2019 so it’s the pool

Summary: Walking in the lobby was very beautiful. Walking into the room it was big and seemed to be clean. There was pull out bed with no sheets and the mattress didn’t look clean. Our sheets on our bed looked dirty. We were only provided with two towels so you might want to ask for more before going to the room. The pool wasn’t open. The breakfast that the kids were looking forward to was only cereal and toast. Overall the stay was just okay. It was quiet and the bed was still comfortable

Summary: My wife and I stay at the Vanllee 3-5 times a year for probably the last 5 years and this was the second time i have been dissapointed. Upon check-in the women at the front desk informed us that there was no a/c in any of the rooms becuse of the season,but we would be provided a box fan.....this is California it my be cooler at night but its almost always hot during the day and that is one of the perks to getting a room. I dudnt see anything about that when i made the reservation u would have stayed somewhere else. There was no refund so we had no choice. other then that we know what to expect. the free internet hardly works and the free breakfast (ceral, toast and juice). also pool was closed

Summary: Upon getting there, each person was getting checked in was standing there waiting for at least half hour. I myself waited that long, then had issues with my card. The one great thing I can say is they were extremely patient, and generously heaped with that issue. After an hour long check in, I was told I was going to a room that didn’t have a tv in the living room. I didn’t worry about it to much cause I was just greatful to finally laying down as it was now 1am. Entering the room, right away I noticed that the rooms looked nothing like as advertised. They were very different. Definitely more ran down, and a little gross to be honest. I found a huge roach or bug floating in the toilet, my first reaction was to flush it, so I didn’t get a snap of it. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. And in the morning when I got up to shower, huge spider in the shower. Yes I guess okay for the price, although not really, but definitely what I thought I was getting into.
