Positive: Facility in general very nice. Very Quiet even the hotel is close to the rail track and only 7 minute walking to the train station that has many connections to nearby major cities. Air conditioning is good and specially the hotel staff is friendly, patient and professional.

Negative: The room at the building corner which I stayed for the first night is too hot due to large glass windows with intensive sun radiation and the AC did not work properly. The large TV at the bed end is not right at all. This may be just this one specific room, the others are very good. The best thing had happened to us that hotel staff offered us another room and this one is very good more than I expected.

Summary: We are very satisfied with the rooms, the hotel location and the beautiful town Breukelen.

Positive: I had a very modern bedroom in excellent condition. The housekeeping staff did a very good job daily. The breakfast buffet was more than you could ever ask for and the choice of food and staff in the restaurant was impressive.

Negative: Lack of hotel information in bedrooms or online, times of opening etc.

Summary: Excellent location for visiting and entertaining people in the area.

Positive: The facilities, reception staff, breakfast, location with convenience for rail and motorway access, EV charging facilities, room cleanliness and comfort. Other than one unfortunate episode this would have been a 10 all around.

Negative: The restaurant let us down, Having booked a table in advance with my room we had a superb dinner. At the end of the meal I asked if this was going to be charged to the room? In retrospect, I am not convinced the waiter fully understood the request as having finished our meal (to celebrate our 35th wedidng aniversary) we sat for a quater of an hour with no one coming to offer us coffee, despite the restaurant not being busy at this time. Eventually we decided to go back to our room, no one challenged us as we exited the restaurant. About half an hour later, by which time I had had a shower and gone to bed, and my wirfe had made and drank a coffee and was also in bed, the phone rang in our room. It was a female voice from the restaurant telling me to come back and pay for my dinner, I asked if it sould be charged to the room as I thought this had been arranged to be told quite brusquely. No! I must come and pay now. Having stated that I was already in bed the voice said 'get up then, you must come to the reataurant and pay now. As our room was in the annexe this meant getting fully dressed, it being late at night and very cold. When I finally arrived at the the restarant I was asked what I wanted and having explained to a waiter that I needed to pay my bill, he then aked if I wanted it charged to my room! When I said 'No, I am here now!' without asking me for any details presented me with someone else bill for nearly twice the ammount I was expecting, this was eventually sorted out without any apology and the correct bill paid. After which I returned to the room to find my wife asleep, not how either of us had anticipated finishing our anniversary!! This was not our first visit to the hotel and our previous experiences was why we came back again. Not so sure about next time now, as this has left a bitter-sweet memory of what was meant to be a special occasion.

Negative: I forgot something and i called it direct to say that i forgot something and they were helpful is true but in the end they said they didn’t found nothing and is not true..🥲🥲whose cleaning for sure they can direct see it because it was in the washing room…i hope they are more honest and give backs the rhings that the people staying with them because its valuable..yes is my fault but sometimes we forgot something is normal☺️☺️so if you stay here don’t forget because it will not return to you anymore 😪😪😪sad to say…honesty is the best policy i hope they will apply this☺️☺️

Positive: Just had coffee and croissants which we enjoyed. Eat in the restaurant which was good. Very convenient for trains to Amsterdam.

Negative: When the water went off in the part of the building we were staying in, although we appreciated it was not the hotels fault, it took some perseverance to get the staff to offer a solution. Luckily the problem was solved and the water back on in a couple of hours.

Summary: Very good place for visiting Amsterdam.
