Positive: The view across the valley. Milk, bread & butter were kindly available along with honey & cookies.

Negative: Parking was very tight in a narrow lane. The property wasn’t clean from bathrooms to floors and even cutlery although there were no spiders or webs! The upstairs loo has a weak flush, only good for liquids. So this was inconvenient for the 4 of us. One of the ‘must have’ is two loos! The back yard steps are quite dangerous and once on the patio area you overlook the neighbours who are just 2mt away, so we couldn’t use this outside area. Photos were misleading when we booked & did not show this property in its fullness. There wasn’t a visitor book which we always like to read as other visitors can leave some interesting information. Smart TV wouldn’t allow us to watch IPlayer or itvX!!

Positive: Loved everything about Valley View. The owners attention to detail is brilliant. They have taken such care in making it a welcoming and comfortable property. I loved, loved, loved the art work that goes with the bouquets of flowers in the bedrooms. There was a basket of goodies in the kitchen and milk in the fridge. The view from the kitchen window and all the bedrooms is wonderful.

Negative: I have nothing bad to say about Valley View, it exceeded expectations.

Summary: A beautiful retreat, a hop, skip and a jump away from all the delights of Belper.
