Positive: Lovely location, lovely villa.

Negative: Convoluted booking process for swimming. Just wanted to go to the pool and enjoy it without all the rigmarole. Even when booked it was an effort to get through the gate.

Negative: WiFi wasn't amazing (provider needs to reboot this) slight smell of damp downstairs especially in the shower room and the bedroom with the door in. Apart from that everything was good and would stay again.

Negative: Bathrooms not well fitted. No shower gel, dish washing fluid, sponge provided. Insufficient toilet rolls or kitchen towels. Bedrooms small.

Positive: Surroundings were lovely. Nice balcony. Nice size. Had everything you needed inside. Quiet and peaceful.

Negative: The shower wasn’t very powerful and very small and mouldy surround. Double bed was very uncomfortable. The mats put down by the door were dangerous we nearly tripped over a few times. The lodge is on a steep hill which we managed but would be no good for the elderly or anyone that can’t walk far. We could not drop off our belongings outside as it blocked the road and there is nowhere to pull over and you have to park at the bottom and walk up the hill which is rather slippery in the wet and there is not a lot of parking, luckily we went out of season but it would be hard to park in peak season I would presume.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay but didn’t sleep well because of the bed and very hilly. Games room shut early.

Positive: The property was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. It was good value for money.

Negative: The shower with the Jack and Jill doors had a mixer tap and it was difficult to get a consistent temperature. For adults this is ok but for young children the water was very hot.

Summary: A great bolt hole for seeing Cornwall. The property was clean, tidy exceeded expectations for the price.

Negative: Steep access and narrow path to lodge. Very dark on road at night when walking from pub or car parking area Due to very wet weather and no porch area or easy clean flooring in hallway difficult to dry off dog after walk.

Positive: The lodge was very nice, well equipped and we enjoyed the balcony . The site is well laid out making the lodge fairly private

Negative: The roads were very steep for walking to the facilities and the childrens play area could have used some swings
