Positive: Beaufitful camping site by the sea, calm and quiet. To be recommended for nature lovers in particular. The bungalow was suprisingly comfortable for our family. The place was great to visit the northern part of the island, especially Faro (which I recommend in particular!), 50 min drive to Visby.

Positive: The location was amazing- quiet little harbor. A view out into the small bay - birdlife, ruins nearby. The breakfast setup was very nice, especially the omelette.

Negative: The shower floor did not drain well and so the bathroom floor got very wet.

Positive: One of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed at! We also had perfect Scandinavian summer weather so that also influences the total score. Good breakfast, and very relaxing overall

Negative: The shower/bathroom was not great. Probably overpriced in terms of room standard, but the view and the peaceful surroundings make it completely worth it. Also, one has to factor in the fact that the hotel only has a few weeks per year where they can operate at full capacity, so the prices make sense in that regard.

Positive: The cottage was cosy and nice. It could fit 6 people. It came with A.C. which is good for summer. It came with a manual with all the info in Swedish and English.

Negative: There were 5 of us including kids. The cottage came with 6 beds but 2 were on the top of another bedroom which can be accessed by the pull down stairs which is hanging by a rope. It was scary for my 8yr and 3yr old. We never used it. The inventory list was all messed up but as I rang the manager she sorted it. You cant park your car in front of the cottage but we found a loop hole. The road behind the cottage is not crowded at all and can be used to unload or pack luggage easily.

Summary: I would recommend it if you want to go to Fårö a lot.

Positive: Breakfast is ok, but very limited (served only for an hour). The ingredients are fresh and good quality, however, there was nothing warm to eat during our 1st day of the stay. great restaurant - it's a shame it closed so soon. On Sunday, the day after it closed, several families were still asking about it. We think the restaurant could operate until the end of September. Britt was super nice and helpful!!!

Negative: no ventilation in the bathroom in the guest room; no information on how to contact the staff in case of questions - some information board with a phone number would be useful in case of additional questions, breakdowns; lack of possibility to rent bikes, boats, kayaks, etc. No mosquito net in the room.
