Positive: The place is extremely beautiful, surrounded by forest in a place a little bit isolated, but ideal for vacation. If you are nature lovers, want to relax and be offline- in general- during your vacation, then is ideal. The amenities are basic but sufficient, in total harmony with the concept of the stay in my opinion (aircondition, no Tv, wifi, no phone signal etc.). I had a fantastic time, but I suppose is not for everyone. You have to keep in mind that is an old abandoned village, that revived, with all the pros and cons.

Negative: I loved every inch of the place. I don't recommend it for everyone, it is for those who want to keep it simple and have a nature centric approach. Some more lights on the parking lot and this particular path to the houses are recommended.

Positive: If you appreciate staying close to nature, this place is a paradise, beautiful stone houses hidden in the mountain. The new manager, Michalis, is a really great person, ready to help and share his knowledge on historic, folklore and natural aspects of the island. He brought as grapes from his vineyard and wine of his own production. He informed us of the onwers environmental and community concerns, and also about his dream for the place to be even better than it already is, all while keeping it reasonably priced.

Negative: One the other hand we found the cleaning stuff more than sloppy. They came on the third day of our stay, but didn't clean anything, they only changed the linen and towels. Even more concerning, a member of our company woke up one day with insect bites, which a doctor later identified as bedbug bites. We informed the manager, and he promptly moved us to another room the same day. However, the cleaning staff was nowhere to be found. No matter how ideal the location is, there are significant sanitation issues that need to be addressed. Additionally, they likely need someone to manage their Booking account, particularly the chat service. Their responses to our questions were minimal at best. On the day of our check-in, when we couldn't reach the manager on our first two calls, we messaged the owner through the app. Our messages remain unanswered to this day. We also tried calling him but received no response. Fortunately, the manager, Michalis, called us back after a while, and we were able to check in.

Positive: This is an amazing location. In a beautiful forest, away from all the stress of the coast. Yet a few minutes from a wonderful tavern and nice walking routes passing almost in front of your door.

Negative: It was difficult to find the place and contact our contact person. Mostly due to the mobile network that is not working in this area. Instruction could be more elaborate and clear.

Summary: It is an amazing place that makes you feel like stepping back in history.

Positive: The location is simply amazing. The verandas played a part in making our stay even more memorable, as we spent most of our evenings there. This is a truly special place that deserves our respect and care.

Positive: The location and views are excellent, the kitchen area was modern you get an external terrace/garden, and it's very quiet. You can wander around the valley from the nearby paths and there's one of the best in Samos across the road
