Summary: I stayed for 6 nights, cleaners never made my bed each day, sheets where changed on the 4th day, floor not vacuumed, toilet not cleaned, dishes not washed, no cutlery in the room to use to eat a meal, towels not replaced each day, dead cockroaches found in the wardrobe.

Summary: The Vale was an affordable overnight stay. It is an older motel behind the main building. Could do with an update and bit of a reno. Check in after hours took a bit long

Summary: We had a great stay at the Val Hotel. The pricing for the rooms is excellent value for money, especially considering how clean and tidy everything was. The room was well-presented, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and provided great service from check-in through to departure. It really makes a difference when you feel welcomed. One of the best parts is having the Vale Pub right there. It’s so convenient to be able to walk across for a meal and a drink without having to drive anywhere. The food options are great and it makes the whole stay easy and relaxing. The location is also excellent – close to everything and very convenient whether you’re travelling for work or leisure. Overall, great value, clean rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Very clean room with comfy beds. It was the cheapest motel I could find from the Townsville Hospital. Close to shops.Therefore, convenient for my needs.
