Positive: Nice environment, calm.

Negative: Beds were not great (technically called boxspring, but so lightweight that they moved with every turn I’d make). Recipe for backache if you’re >2m tall. No chairs to sit outside in the garden. Restaurant was nice, but not very welcoming that chairs are stacked up on the table during opening times.

Summary: Nice and relaxing place, but you pay hotel prices for self-service.

Positive: Beautiful location. 20 mins away from Spa circuit. Very nice meal at the restaurant and friendly and welcoming staff. Gardens are lovely and the walking routes were excellent. Malmedy had some really pleasant bars and restaurants..

Negative: Parts of the accommodation looked and felt tired. Swimming pool and spa area were very crowded and noisy with swimming lessons and the changing rooms couldn't cope with the number of people using it.

Summary: Lovely location, highly recommended for attending races at Spa.

Positive: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner in the evening was great. The grounds and landscaping were very well kept.

Negative: The outside pool was not open

Summary: A great stay and we will definitely be coming back.
