Positive: The breakfast was perfect though service time should be reduced between ordering and serving

Negative: Our charlet had shower issues and the salty water we were not aware of and no bottled water at the rooms and coffee and tea

Positive: Absolutely breathtakingly beautiful 🍃scenic views, rooms clean and comfortable with aircons. The barge is amazing whilst watching the sunset. Food very nice and affordable I would recommend the Yabbies.

Positive: The property is very appealing. It has a lovely holiday look and feel, is well maintained, and was consistently clean throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful - a standout aspect of the experience. The beds were comfortable, and the pool areas were clean and thoroughly enjoyed by both the kids and ourselves. The location next to the Lubovane Dam is another highlight, especially for those who enjoy water-based activities. The establishment offers its own cruise, which adds to the overall appeal. The food was decent and reasonably priced. While it was enjoyable, it didn’t quite match the very high expectations set by the online reviews. That said, this may come down to personal taste. Overall, it’s a nice place and clearly popular. Just be aware that it’s better suited to those who enjoy a more vibrant, social atmosphere rather than a quiet, restful getaway.

Negative: The atmosphere is more lively than relaxing, with music playing most of the day and into the evenings. On our first night, a live performer went well past 11pm and was quite loud, which made it difficult for our family to sleep. The following night was better, but still not completely quiet. Guests looking for a more peaceful, early-night environment may want to keep this in mind. At times, the music played in shared areas included content not suitable for kids. A bit more awareness in this regard would enhance the family-friendly experience. Mosquitos were a challenge on the second night (though not fully within their control), and a Doom aerosol was provided. The “self-catering” setup is limited - basic appliances are provided, but not standard items like cooking utensils, plates or mugs (staff did assist when we asked). The location is quite remote from other family activities (about an hour’s drive), so some planning is needed. Due to the lack of rest over two nights, we chose to check out a day early, which also helped with a smoother border crossing. Management handled this professionally and offered a partial concession for a future visit, which was appreciated.
