Positive: Everything about the location was perfect, especially the fact that beds were set up both upstairs and downstairs for us upon arrival. The e-bikes were also easy to use and fun to ride around the city. Finally, Yoriko was the best host ever! She helped us with receiving shipments and booking restaurants ahead of time. She was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and kind.

Summary: I would highly recommend staying here, as I think this is probably the best accommodation in all of Tokushima!

Positive: It was such a beautiful experience for our introduction to Japan. Traditional house that was perfectly clean and cosy. All the small touches were amazing. We enjoying taking the bikes around town!

Positive: Wonderful place to stay - lots of little extras all around the house, fridge full of food to get us started, lots of things for our toddler (toys, books, high chair etc). The host was fantastic and even organised a bike with a baby seat for us prior to our stay, which was wonderful for getting around. Lots of local tips provided as needed - we would have loved to be able to fit more of them in!

Positive: The traditional Japanese design of the house and the garden. The house is renovated with modern facilities. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment and supplies, including drinks, food (for breakfast), spices, or condiments. There is also ebike and outdoor equipment available for use. Whether you are in Tokushima for the Shikoku Pilgrimage or general sightseeing/excursions, there are plenty of information available in the house. There is also several parking space right in front of the house. The owner was very attentive and thoughtful by making sure I had everything needed during my stay.

Negative: Frankly, not much not to like. It's a bit far from the train station but not an issue if you have a car.

Summary: Hoping to be able stay in this property again my next trip to Tokushima.

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Yoriko-san’s beautiful guest home, 月yue. It was our first time visiting Tokushima and she made our time so memorable. We really appreciated all her preparations to make our stay comfortable and the different experiences she helped us coordinate such as visiting a blacksmith, doing a cooking lesson, and attending an indigo dyeing workshop. Yoriko-san was an incredibly thoughtful host, and warm and welcoming too, and she always went above and beyond for us. She gave us many excellent recommendations for food and attractions around Tokushima. The home is even more gorgeous than in the pictures, and it was a fantastic place to come home to for a few days. Even though we were only there for a short period of time, it was a stay we’ll never forget. We’ll definitely come back to visit again soon. よりこさん: 本当に楽しかった、必ずまた来ます！！
