Positive: Perfect base to visit Chachapoyas, Kuelap, Revash and other sites in the surroundings. We had a big charming and comfy room in the first building, facing the mountain and more quiet than the more modern rooms in front of the swimming pool. Food menu is simple but tasty. There is only one restaurant in the vicinity, which also makes simple but good local food (and plays loud music!) ;)

Negative: All good. The staff consists of one guy who does all the cleaning, from rooms to swimming pool, and also serving food and drinks and one or two in the kitchen, which can be a challenge if the hotel gets a lot of guests at the same time, but they work really hard to make the place welcoming and your stay comfortable.

Positive: The food was excellent. This hotel is close to the gondola that goes to Kuelap. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Shower was nice and hot.

Positive: Communication with Janet was excellent before our arrival and she helped me with a couple of queries about the local sights. The young lady who runs the place was very welcoming and the room was absolutely beautiful in an old style with lots of space. The Wifi was average in the room but worked well on the terrace and the swimming pool was a bonus. The shower was superb!! Breakfast was good and all in all a great experience.

Negative: Be aware that this location is not walkable to the cable car station.

Positive: The facility was great, and the king-size room and the bathroom were very comfortable. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is about 20 minutes from the 'teleferico' to Kuelap, but you need a car.

Negative: I paid a bit more than expected.
