Positive: Beautiful location. The restaurant/bar area is alright. The rooms are spacious and bright. The balconies are good. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Negative: Poor WiFi. Electricity cut-offs during the night making it extremely hot in AC rooms. Poor cleanliness, dirty towels and bedsheets. It took a long time to acquire new bedsheets and towels, and even then they looked dirty. The first day it took three hours to get lunch (we were a group of 12 people) and when it arrived the lunch was cold.

Summary: Great location, poor cleanliness.

Positive: Nice and calm place for solo, family and friends, party and get together. Very near to the sea shore. Opt place for the person who loves the sea and sea shore like me. Very cooperative and communicating staff and owner. Nice ambience and climate. Food also good.

Negative: If the water for domestic consumption is increased , it would be comfortable for Indians. Indians mostly use a lot of water for bath and sanitation. I would not say it's bad, this is suggested. All guests will not be the same.

Summary: Excellent and feel comfortable like your home stay.

Positive: Safe, the owner of the place, is the only local running a hotel on Ushongo Beach, so if you want to support the locals, you should stay with him. The restaurant is charming and the food is really good - and directly from the restaurant you can watch thousands of little crabs on the beach, when evening comes. Also Safe helped us a lot, with catching the Bus and organizing a Bodaboda to the busstation when we had to leave again. It was a really relaxing and nice time we spent at Ushongo.

Negative: One day, there were some jellyfish in the sea, but it was not too bad. If you watched out for them, it was managable to not get stung. And it was only one day. And you should be aware, that you will encounter bugs. For me personally that wasn't big of a deal, but if you are sensible in that area, maybe you should find another place to stay. And I also need to say, that they really did their best to reduce the bugs as much as possible, since they sprayed the room with insectizid (no problem with smell of something, if you worry about that) every evening.

Positive: I found the accommodation at the Ushongo Beach Bandas on the Internet - booking.com I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the hotel and its services. The hotel and its team is responsible, professional. Everything has been done the way it should have been done. The team provided great food, great company, assistance, and responsibility for tourists' safety. The staff is VERY client focused, it cares for tourists and is ready to do client service at very HIGH standards! Therefore if you consider choosing a hotel to go to Pangani, JUST GO for the Ushongo Beach Bandas. You will not regret it. The owner of the hotel is very knowledgeable, professional, ready to help and advice at any stage of your trip. PS. For me Pangani is a very interesting place to see and experience, especially, if you want to feel nature, the Indian Ocean and be in a quiet area. Better than Zanzibar.

Positive: Great location and beach. Amazing, big breakfast. Helpful staff.

Negative: Don’t expect great wifi and electricity cuts out during bad weather (but they have a generator)…not that you need the net or electricity here.
