Positive: The lodge was immaculate and everything that could possibly be needed was included. It was in a beautiful location overlooking Urriðafoss waterfall and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from the lodge! There was free parking outside and the lodge was nice and warm despite staying in mid December. The beds were extremely comfortable and the sofa bed was made up ready for our arrival. There was a private hot tub outside which was a lovely extra. Couldn’t recommend these lodges more and we ended up extending our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here for anyone looking for a more peaceful location away from the main city and towns, and although more rural it was still easily accessible from the main roads. The host was very helpful and responsive. If we returned to Iceland we would definitely stay here again! We hired a car and found it in a great location to easily explore all the sights that you may wish to see. It was lovely to wake up to complete peace and a beautiful view

Positive: Perfect location, centrally positioned to explore all the main sites of the golden circle while also quiet and surrounded by natural beauty. The lodge was slightly bigger than expected, immaculate and always lovely and warm. The hot tub was a real luxury to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. Loved our stay here!

Positive: Location is spectacular, so close to Urridafoss that the sounds are audible from the lodging and the spray visible. Beautiful apartment that is a feminine, spotlessly clean, nice smells, cozy beds, good linen, big space, fine decor and EXTRA coffee. Sparkling clean hottub. Great bath products, everything we needed to feel at home. If a 20 out of 10 was possible, this would be it.

Negative: One hand towel in drawer had fluff and hair folded neatly inside it. Minor issue: Sure, it's common when using driers, but the only negative we encountered.

Positive: The location was spectacular! It was set up beautifully and we really loved it and the convenience. (We literally walked a few minutes to the falls.) It was new and comfortable and had everything we needed including a washer/dryer unit, robes and slippers. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and strong. We would have booked it for longer had I known how lovely it was. Love that there was a private hot tub but unfortunately we never got to use it. We actually were able to watch for the northern lights from the place since it had a wall to wall window view. Never got tired of the view of Urridafoss falls.

Negative: The only thing we had a slight issue with was the heating. Our friends mentioned how great it was to have radiant heating on the floors, I would not have known they were heated. During the day the room warmed but at night it cooled to 21.5 C no matter what temp we set it on and the floors were cool to walk on. (Manager was very receptive reached out right away but we thought we had taken care of temp setting.). This was a minor blip that had we stayed longer I am sure would have been figured out and rectified.

Positive: Nice lodge, stylish design inside, big windows. Very clean. Private hot tub outside, also very clean.

Negative: The waterfall is beautiful, but the first thing you see is the parking lot in front of it with tourists flocking in. The bathroom had no hooks to hang your towels anywhere, and it was not possible to change the temperature of the shower. The place is completely anonymous, you receive a code for the door and don‘t ever meet the owner/host. the website also doesn‘t give any information on who the host is. Seemed a bit weird.
