Come relax and enjoy this upscale 2,200 sq ft log home with a covered wraparound porch and grill, 360 degrees of breathtaking views, and NO CROWDS. With the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, you’ll be amazed at the abundant wildlife. Don’t be surprised if you see moose, elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope right from the deck. This secluded home has the best of both worlds, nestled at the base of the Bighorn Mountains with easy access to Red Grade Road and the 15-minute trip up to the National Forest and the mountain range, but only a 20-minute drive away from Sheridan.
You’ll have everything you need in this true home away from home: excellent internet connection, 4 big screen televisions, in-floor heating, air conditioning, 2 master suites with king size beds, master bathrooms with showers and separate tubs, 2 additional half baths, and a loft with an ultra-comfortable queen sofa sleeper. You’ll love the full-size kitchen with Viking appliances, well-furnished and tastefully decorated living room, and huge laundry room with washer and dryer.
In Sheridan, you’ll find boutiques, art galleries, antique stores, and lots of options for food, plus great breweries and coffee shops. Activities abound, whatever your interests. Explore cultural options, like the variety of museums including the world-famous Brinton, historical sites, the WYO theatre, and polo at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. Get outside for hiking, fishing, big game viewing, horseback riding, four wheeling, golf, and other activities. For those who love snow and winter sports, Meadowlark and Antelope Butte Ski areas are close by, as are the hundreds of miles of popular, designated snowmobile trails up in the Bighorns and several cross-country ski and snowshoe areas.
The house also makes a great base for ORV/UTV's enthusiasts, hunters, and snowmobilers, due to its quick and easy mountain access and a secure (with cameras) parking lot for snowmobiles/UTV's/ATVs and trailers about 1/2 mile away from the house. If you are snowmobiling or riding an ORV please let us know ahead of time and we will supply you with the info you need for parking/storing you ORV's at our other property on Red Grade Rd.
Note. Expect flies and box elders in the house nearly year-round because this is a log home in a mountainous location, somehow, they sneak in. 4WD vehicle required in winter. Always check roads and weather before traveling.

Summary: This is the perfect place for a getaway. Numerous deer greeted us every morning. Their were daily interactions with a rabbit. Views in the morning when the sun woke us up were spectacular and star gazing was great.

Summary: Beautiful cabin, loved the wildlife, came up close to cabin, close easy access to atv trails, awesome pizza place in Big Horn, wrap around deck on cabin, owners were great! Very clean when we arrived, lots of kitchen supplies, loved it!!

Summary: We did a family trip out to Wyoming and stayed here, it’s a beautiful cabin with an excellent view! We say tons of wildlife right from the deck and it is only 1 mile from the trail system. The cabin was exactly what we needed and clean when we arrived with an easy check in/out process. The host was very accommodating and called me personally before our stay to answer any questions, we pulled a trailer out and they let us park it at one of their other properties for ease of access. Definitely recommend!

Summary: Our party consisted of my wife's sister and her husband and my wife and me, all over 70 years old. Perfect place. Loved all the wildlife right in the yard. Also, good starting point for UTV travel into the mountains. Great people to rent from.

Summary: It is a beautiful house perfectly located to explore the Bighorn Mts, yet close to amenities in nearby Big Horn and Sheridan. We were able to watch abundant wildlife sitting on the 360 degree porches with views of the mountains and valley.

Summary: This was a beautiful property with everything you would need for your stay. Take binoculars and sitting on the porch you can find antelope and elk, plus there's great view. Steer and deer are close by. It's an easy drve to Bighorn and Sheridan. Loved our time there!

Summary: If you’re considering this property, stop procrastinating and book it right away. Everything about the house is perfect. The location is great if you want peace and quiet, but you’re still close enough to town if you need anything or would like to eat at a restaurant instead of cooking in the very well equipped kitchen. The recommendations for restaurants by the hosts were spot on and very thoughtful. The house was immaculate and felt very luxurious. We loved the layout and really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and beautiful views. Communication with the hosts was great, thank you so much to Angela en Erik for sharing this beautiful home. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
