Positive: The apartment is close to the Avon Theatre, restaurants and shopping. The unit was clean except for the dishes and quiet at night. We did finally locate the extra blanket and pillow in the unheated utility room after bringing our own in from the car. The wifi worked fine.

Negative: The apartment was sparsely furnished. There was no can opener, dinner plates, napkins, placemats, Kleenex, hot mats, laundry detergent, oven pans, microwavable pan with lid and mainly NO PARKING! We parked about 3 blocks away. The access code was not sent via email until we had left home on the day of arrival, so we had to contact host for the code and luckily she answered the phone and gave us the code. There were adequate towels, but only 2 wash clothes. We had to purchase an oven dish and a microwavable container. If we were staying longer, we would have replaced the one frying pan that was old and the Teflon surface is flaking off. The glasses in the cupboard were not washed adequately and were sticky around the lip edges. We rewashed all the dishes. We rent units with kitchens so we can do most of our own cooking, but this unit was not adequately equipped.

Summary: We travel a lot and this was the most sparsely appointment unit we have ever rented.

Positive: The location could not have been better ... close to downtown, restaurants, and theatres.

Negative: Because we were travelling without a cellphone or computer we didn't receive the message that the passsword for the door lock had changed. This caused some confusion that eventually got straightened out.

Negative: Not enough towel hooks in the BR No tissue paper No wash cloths Need instructions from turning on the lights for the very dark stairwells from insider the flat

Positive: There was a code to enter, which made accessing the location straightforward for all the family members. The location was fresh, clean, well laid out. There is a lovely back deck to sit out and have morning coffee. We would definitely come back again.

Negative: This isn't about the location, it is just something to know if you are staying downtown Stratford. There are no late night convenience stores, or a place to grab a snack/ supplies late night in the downtown, so make sure you have what you want/ need before you park your car for the night! Thee really is no place to pick up milk, juice, a pop, or a snack within walking distance after standard store hours, so you may want to bring your preferred supplies with you. Again, not a knock against this location at all.

Summary: Convenient location, super clean and comfortable - an excellent place to stay in downtown Stratford
