The space
This 700 square foot cottage has been completely remodeled and redesigned with an open floor plan, loft area, and a full kitchen and bath. It sleeps 2-4 people comfortably. Enjoy your morning coffee on the attached deck area and a relaxed mountain evening, sipping on a glass of wine while watching the fireflies. Cozy up by your own personal fire pit for a quiet evening in. Great for walking, jogging, and biking. The setting is quiet and feels somewhat remote, but you are not far from all that Saluda, Hendersonville, Tryon, Asheville, and Greenville have to offer.

Summary: This cottage was perfect for our stay. The lake is 2 cottages away. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was enough room to setup our dogs crate and to fit 4 people comfortably.

Summary: Arrived Thursday late afternoon. By 7am next morning no power or water. Had to make all our food so it wouldn't go bad. Luckily, there was a charcoal grill and charcoal. We met the neighbors and cooked all the food and shared a meal together. On a positive note, we made new friends. That was the highlight. Bad went to worse and we finally left Saturday am to get out before we may have been stuck. I asked for a refund of the nights we couldn't stay and had no power and was told no but they would give us 2 nights free if we come back next year or in the future. Our plans did not work out, but that's life. Hopefully we can stay there next year if the event is on again in Saluda. Nothing wrong with the place, just a terrible situation with a flood not seen in 100 yrs. At least all of our other logging reservations were refunded due to the circumstances.

Summary: This was the perfect spot for my son and I to spend a week together! Very comfortable beds, loved walking around the lake and enjoyed the proximity to hiking. Hope to stay again!

Summary: Our birthdays are a week apart and fell on Fridays this year so we decided to take our dog and relax for week in the mountains. We had never been to Saluda and decided to give it a try. It was definitely a good decision as was the decision to book this VRBO. Our host was lovely, the cabin was charming and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will return.
