Home on the rail trail at mile marker 43 of the 61 mile trail for hiking and biking. This place will provide the place for family time to build a life time of memories. Fall is a great time to visit the beautiful Pine Creek Valley. Warm days and cool nights. Breakfast on the rear deck overlooking the creek and looking at the mountains. 2nd choice set on the front deck and look at the trail while looking at the opposite mountain. Night time choose to sit around the gas fire pit or for the more adventurous build a wood fire to enjoy the flames and heat.
From the front enclosed porch with all glass windows to the rear dining room with three walls of glass, everyone is going to enjoy the beautiful fall views of the mountains, trails and pine creek. This fully furnished home is a welcome respite from a full day of outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling on the Pine Creek Trail, or for those more adventurous types there are many marked hiking trails close by. Winter activities can include cross country skiing right out the front door or a short ride to Ski Sawmill. The summer adventures can include kayaking, canoeing or just a leisurely dip in Big Pine Creek. For those not as venturesome how about a refreshing dip in the pool right off the deck? The house is fully furnished, includes towels for inside use , pillows, other bedding , and blankets , the kitchen comes with enough utensils and appliances for preparing meals for an army. A washer and dryer are available for your convenience, wood will be provided for the outside fire pit but it also has an outdoor gas fire pit to gather around. A 65" television, landline, and DSL internet are included in your package. For your added enjoyment by the fire pit and the creek bring extra lawn chairs.

Summary: We came to the area from Virginia Beach for the Collins-Toboz Bridge to Bridge 10k. My husband is a retired Navy SEAL, and we stayed with other SEALs and Navy Submariners. We enjoyed be so close to our othet friends who lived down the street. The house has plenty of room for all of us to spread out. And a great outdoor area! Thank you for sharing your house with us!!

Summary: We had a great vacation. This home was perfect for the 7 of us. The area was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The kids loved the creek and swim pool. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Beautiful bike trails across from house and a few restaurants and gas stations within a 15 minute drive bigger towns are a half to one hour away. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Hopefully we will be back in next fall when the leaves change.

Summary: We had a great stay. They whole family enjoyed our stay from my grandmother in her 90s to my 12 year old daughter. Quite and laid back area very relaxing. Beautiful views. The house was lovely. The pool was a hit. The host was kind and helpful. Thank you!

Summary: The location could not be any better with the creek accessible in front of the house and the bike trail directly behind. In addition the setting of the house between the two mountains was breathtaking. The pool was warm and clean and there were amenities for everyone. Lots to do and so much room to spread out. Plenty of items in the kitchen to prepare meals with. The garage space was a great place to store bikes and floats. Best part was the hosts. Bob and Marcia are a wonderful couple who live on the large property and were very attentive to detail and provided many recommendations. Will definitely be back. Miss it already.
