Beautiful view on a quiet bay but accessible to the entire Whitefish Chain of fourteen lakes. Feels secluded, but only a three-minute drive to town. Private dock. Enjoy lake view meals on the deck. Small sandy beach and stone patio with fire ring. Full bath on each of three levels. Grill and large outside griddle for cooking pancakes or burgers for a crowd.
Near golf courses, restaurants and water sport rentals. Comfortable and cozy and clean. Fully-equipped kitchen. Linens and towels included. Central air and WIFI and cable TV. Washer and dryer. Rustic look and feel, but with modern amenities. A great value!
Our cozy home really shines in September and October when the autumn leaves are glowing. The cute heater in the basement make the family room extra sweet on a fall evening.
Summer 2024 is mostly booked and we are not currently booking anything for Summer of 2025. As the 2024 guests check out, they are given opportunity to re-book their same week for the following year. Throughout Summer 2024, please keep an eye on our calendar to see any Summer 2025 weeks that open up. All stays from June through August are a minimum of six nights. The rest of the year, the minimum is only two nights. September and October weekends are available during lovely autumn leaf season.
The family room heater feels cozy on a fall evening. However, the fireplace in the living room is only decorative. Please do not use the fireplace.

Summary: Quiet bay on Dagget Lake. The house easily accommodated our five adults; each household had a separate bath & privacy. We’ve stayed in VRBOs before and expected some hit & miss with pots & pans, but the house is five minutes from Reeds Market & Ace Hardware, so easily fixed. Enjoyed the fire pit & birdwatching!

Summary: Bruce and Robin were great to communicate with ...easy check in and check out and kept us well informed The Beautiful Property was clean and well maintained with lots of extras and necessary items for our usage... Close to a grocery store and adult beverages The house had a lovely deck , great place to play board games and eat. 2 fridges were a great plus loved the 3 large bathrooms the basement rec room was super great for the kids to unwind after a fun filled day on the water. Griffen had a great time in the water and chasing a ground squirrel.... Complementary Smore's , Yum Yum Lots of cut firewood Beds were comfy with fans included in each room House stayed cool with all the great tree shade and AC Water was a little shallow for swimming close to shore but the kids went out to end of dock and found depth The Sunnies off the end of the dock were fun to catch and release , and there were lots . Pontoon rental on lake, close to cabin . Lake was large enough for tubing safely. Was a great place for a family get together ...would go back again for sure.... Summary: We stayed here for our annual family cabin week. We had 6 adults and two kids and this cabin was perfect for us. The location is so close to town and the boat access to all of the lakes is great. The kids caught a lot of sunnies off the dock and we enjoyed a bonfire each night. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Bruce and Robin were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend.

Summary: Couldn’t be more happy making memories at the lake with our family! The property is amazing and enough space that everyone has they own areas if needed. The owner has a ton of extra items for your use. We loved being tucked into the cove having younger family we were a lot less worried about the lake. Nice sand beach for the kids to play in and PLENTY of fish being caught on the dock! We have stayed at a lot of different properties in the area and will be back to this one! Thank you for such a wonderful week with the whole family!

Summary: Beautiful property lakeside in Crosslake area. House was clean and included great amenities including grill, Blackstone, and kayaks for lake. Made good use of the dock for fishing and parking our pontoon boat. Owner was very responsive to our couple of questions. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing family gathering on the water.

Summary: We had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Robin and Bruce were great to work with! It was so nice for the kids to be able to play in the sand and water right at the cabin! It was great to be in a quiet bay but be able to quickly get out to the larger lake for more activities. Thank you Robin and Bruce!

Summary: A wonderful family getaway with the perfect location, wonderful views, and a cozy cabin. The Johnson’s have thought of everything wood for the fire, bug spray, sun screen and a first aide kit. The kids loved the kayaks and the adults loved the comfortable chairs on the deck to keep an eye on them. It is close to anything you might need, in town, with a golf course right down the street. The shops in Nisswa are about 20 minutes away. We will be back, we loved it.
