Summary: We stayed here for a week with my parents, husband and our children (7 & 9 years old). The house in phenomenal and the views indescribable. Loved the layout (works perfectly for different family groups), multiple dining and entertaining areas, well-stocked kitchen - nothing was a problem. Absolutely recommend!

Summary: Spindrift Cove is a spacious, well laid-out home with views from every single room of the mighty pacific and pounding surf. The area - Carmel Highlands - lives up to the famous quote as “The greatest meeting of land and water in the world,” and the house is minutes from Pt Lobos. Pelicans cruise by directly at eye level, while otters frolic in the surf below. The house is very private, but just 10 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Carmel. The weather can be cool, but a hot tub, fire pit and 2 wood burning fireplaces offer a cozy solution on overcast days. Dave and Elke were wonderful hosts - be sure to ask them about the history of the parcel and the “Copper Spine” house that originally occupied the lot.

Summary: The house is an architectural marvel set on an exquisite cove. You can watch sea otters dive for clams and occasionally see a whale spout right off the point. The attention to detail is extraordinary. Dave and Elke make themselves invisible but attend to any needs instantly.

Summary: The home and setting are beyond stunning! Located in a gorgeous, private area of the coast with full ocean views from every room. Our hosts, Dave and Elke were great and attentive. There were so many amenities thoughtfully provided throughout, like robes, beach towels , kitchen and pantry items, throws in seating areas, bath items. We enjoyed the hot tub under an ancient cypress tree. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were all like suites. We loved cozying up by the big copper fireplace with the waves in view with binoculars and telescopes for viewing the sea otter neighbors! A wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with my family!
