Summary: Check in was fast. Rooms were clean and was very quiet. Building is old but very clean. Pool is available from 10 to 9 pm. Breakfast was above basic. Disappointed about the parking. The site says parking available but when checking in the staff will charge you 13 dollars to park on the property very disappointed. If I knew about the breakfast and parking fee I would look for another hotel for cheaper without breakfast and free parking.

Summary: Needed a place to stay that was close the airport since we had an early morning flight. Boy did we make a mistake choosing this place. Room was ok until you looked around. Floor hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathtub had long, black hairs stuck to the sides and bottom. The chair for the desk was visually dirty and looked stained. It had crumbs on it so I didn’t use it. We got there late in the evening so we just put up with it.

Summary: It wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t great, and we won’t be back. There was used toilet paper in our toilet when we checked in, for one. Not a huge deal, but gross. Place just felt kind of unclean and the breakfast was pretty lame (bread/muffins/fruit). Also, there’s not hot tub, so that’s kind of a bummer.

Summary: Front desk staff was super friendly. They were very approachable as I needed assistance with a Band-Aid for my autistic son. They were very helpful with directions in the area and just overall a great crew

Summary: Traditionally staying with a large family at the University Place on 4th of July for many years. Main reasons - location and pool. Had no problem in the past to have at least one room next to the pool. Specified this request on my booking few months prior to stay. In the end received rooms on the 3d floor which were traded on the 1st one but on the other side of the hotel. The hotel explanation provided was the conference run at the hotel at that time. But people staying at the rooms by the pool have not even heard about any conference. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant.
