Spread out across 15 acres and in a home with 4,800 square feet, southern facing exposure with expansive windows to let in all that sunshine, high end finishes, and whole tree architecture. Enjoy 360 views with nearly 3,000 feet of shoreline! Access crystal clear waters from a new dock and enjoy world class fishing on nearly three thousand acres on the Little Boy and Wabedo chain of lakes. If you're looking for a slower speed, take a lake tour in the provided sit-on kayak, sit-in kayak, and/or stand-up paddle board. Rainy day? Enjoy a personal home theater + a massive rec room complete with a television, ping pong, pool table, and bar. All new furnishings as of spring 2022. This home has it all!
This home is easy to access from all major surrounding metropolitan areas. It is approximately 3 hours north of Minneapolis, 6 hours from Madison, and 9 hours from Chicago (majority of drive can either be interstate via Minneapolis or scenic via Duluth). We chose the location because of the balance between nature/relaxation and tourist activities (the more densely populated Gull Lake and Cross Lake areas are approx. one hour away). If you want peaceful seclusion but still have access to it all, this is the place for you!

Summary: Overall, unique and inviting property. Great for large groups or families. Kitchen and utility well stocked with many items you sometimes need but often forget to bring with you. Mattresses seemed very comfortable, often an unusual trait in other rentals. Great amenities including a movie theatre room. Saw several boats fishing successfully in mid October. Our experience was fantastic. Great star gazing and northen lights viewing. One practical note....there are alot of stairs so be mindful of those who have trouble navigating that. For the record, the main level offers more than enough to do so that someone who does not get around easily will not have to use the stairs....great place!!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hosts were flexible and accommodating. The unit had every thing we needed (minus firewood). The kids enjoyed the lake, kayaks and paddle board, fire pit, decks, game room and movie room. The home has ample room for everyone.

Summary: Our party of ten stayed for a full week and had a wonderful time. The check in and out was very seamless and convenient. We found the cabin to have a well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The appliances worked great and were large enough to accommodate the needs of our party. The supplied linens were plentiful and of high quality. The whole cabin was very clean and we appreciated the nice touches such throughout that made our stay comfortable. The cabin itself was very large and allowed for spreading out throughout our stay and the common areas were large enough to accommodate our group. We used the kayaks and spent time at the small beach and on the lake which was beautiful. We did rent a pontoon from Wheeler's Marine and found them to be very easy to work with and the drop off and pick up at the public boat access on the lake was very easy. Our entire party really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you!

Summary: We had 9 family members from 20 to 80 years old. This house was beautiful and spacious. We went kayaking and fishing, sat around the fire at night. It was peaceful and relaxing. We rented a pontoon and the younger peeps had a blast boating and swimming. Such a great trip!

Summary: We had our adult kids join us for a week of boardgames, ping pong, pool, campfires, and water fun in this large island cabin. Plenty of space to break out into multiple activities. Kitchen is modern and we had no issues cooking for 8 for the week we stayed. Highly recommend attending the turtle races on Wednesdays (during the summer) in town. Entry level to the cabin is at the basement level with the main living space one floor above so staying here might be an issue for people with limited mobility.

Summary: The property and house are perfect. The property on the island is extremely secluded, the house is incredible, huge and with anything and everything to do. The lake is clear, we spent time on a rented pontoon, and used the paddle board and kayaks provided with this listing. Could not have asked for a better space.
