The IRINI holiday home complex is located in the south-east of the island, approx. 4.5 km from the charming village of Lefkimi and approx. 3 km south of the small harbour of Lefkimi, on a well-kept, huge garden plot with lawn, many Mediterranean flowers, plants and palm trees. The complex consists of 2 two-storey buildings, which are staggered one behind the other, and a single-storey building perpendicular to them. In the front building, which faces the sea, there are two adjoining studios on the ground floor. The flat on the upper floor is used as a holiday flat by the landlord couple. In the second row, directly behind the front building, there is another house with two flats on each floor. Approx. 60m perpendicular to the second house is another building with 3 adjoining holiday flats.
Beautiful, frontal to the sea and directly on the beach situated house with unique, free view of the Ionian Sea up to the opposite mainland. The appropriately furnished studio IRINI is located on the raised ground floor of the front house, with its own entrance at the back. The open-plan bedroom is adjoined by the kitchenette and the bathroom. Direct exit to the covered terrace with beautiful sea view and the garden via 7 steps.
In the side part of the garden plot is the common BBQ area of the holiday home complex IRINI for the use of all guests.
The flats of this lovely holiday home complex are particularly suitable for small groups, friendly couples and families with children. What awaits you here is tranquillity, seclusion, plenty of space to play, relax and swim, because the beach and the sea are right on your doorstep, the water is shallow and ideal for children. 2 kayaks and a paddle boat can be used free of charge by arrangement with the landlord. The extensive Bouka sandy beach, approx. 5 km away, with sun loungers and umbrellas, a taverna and café, offers unforgettable bathing fun for the whole family.

Summary: Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das ältere Ehepaar, dass uns empfangen hat ist sehr sympathisch und stand rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung. Die Anlage ist schön angelegt und ruhig gelegen. Allerdings waren wir zu der Zeit auch fast die einzigen Gäste. Die Küche des Apartments hat eigentlich alles, was man braucht. Es gibt einen kleinen Backofen, einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach sowie eine Doppelkochplatte. Leider gibt es den Strand, der auf dem Bild zu sehen ist, nicht mehr. Es gibt eine Kante, die man, um ins Wasser zu kommen, heruntersteigen muss. Das Wasser selbst und die Aussicht sind aber wahnsinnig schön. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Anlage und Apartment! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Summary: Georgios und Irini (Hausbesitzer) wohnen vor Ort im Obergeschoss des am nächsten zum Meer gelegenen Hauses über den Studios 5 und 6. Georgios ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Wir wohnten in Studio 5, wo wir von der Hochterrasse eine wunderschöne Aussicht aufs Meer hatten. Dieses vordere Haus wurde als erstes gebaut und manches etwas verwohnt - sollte mal renoviert werden. Betten sind angenehm. Kücheneck ist sehr einfach eingerichtet. Georgios musste die Herdplatte wechseln, weil der Stecker schmorte. Als wir die Tassen spülen wollten, gab es kein warmes Wasser, denn das Haus wird mit Solarwasser versorgt, was bei den vielen Studios oft nicht ausreicht. Ähnlich war es im Badezimmer - warm duschen war meist nicht möglich. Außerdem sind Toilette und Dusche so dicht nebeneinander, dass alles voll spritzt. Wir haben mit Georgios darüber geredet und er sagte, dass da einfach kein Platz wäre, das zu ändern. TV funktionierte bei uns nicht - empfängt auch nur örtliche Sender - griechisch und einer in englisch. An den beiden kleinen Fenstern ist Fliegendraht - an den beiden Türen nichts. Mücken waren aber kaum ein Problem. Es sind elektrische Geruchsdinger zum Mückenschutz vorhanden. Das Haus in der zweiten Reihe mit den Studios 7-10 wurde als letztes gebaut und die Studios sind in entsprechend sehr gutem Zustand - auch das Bad. Wenn ich wieder mal in den Irina Studios wohnen sollte, würde ich im zweiten Haus wohnen in Studio 7 oder 9, weil man da noch etwas Meersicht hat. Trotz Steg und Treppe watet man leider die ersten Meter im Meer durch dickes Seegras bis man den Sand erreicht (2016 wurde der Strand durch einen Sturm weggespült). Auch der Straßenlärm hält sich in Grenzen. Nur ab und zu dröhnt ein Quad vorbei. Wie es natürlich in den Studios zur Straße hin ist, kann ich nicht sagen. De Musiklärm (Bum Bum) vom "Ballermann" Kavos hat man nur ab und zu und dann auch nur ganz dumpf vernommen. Die Liegewiese mit Palmen und gratis Liegestühlen und Schirmen haben wir gern benutzt. Das flache Meerwasser vor dem Grundstück wärmt sich schnell auf und hat wegen des nachmittags meist ablandigen Windes nicht so viel Wellen wie an der Westküste der Insel, wo jeden Nachmittag auflandiger Wind aufkommt und die Wellen verursacht. Wen das Seegras stört kann am nahegelegenen Bouka Strand den Sandstrand und das warme flache Meerwasser ohne Meergras genießen - dazu braucht man aber ein Auto.

Summary: Todo fue bien, el apartamento es tal como se describe en las fotos y la información. Es muy bonito desayunar y cenar frente al mar. El apartamento es pequeño, pero tiene todo lo necesario a excepción de los productos de limpieza y aseo, tal como se explica en la info. La comunicación fue bien y las personas que nos recibieron fueron muy amables.

Summary: When it comes to relaxation, there is no better place than Irini Apartments. The secluded location at the sea, makes it an ideal getaway from the hustle and noise of town. Yet if one wants just a 30 minute walk will get you to party central, Kavos. The hosts are wonderful and George is the friendliest I have met in my many years of travel. The sea is family friendly as well as fun place to relax for adults, with kilometers os knee high mellow swim area. The place is also a good value. I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for rest and relaxation!

Summary: This place is amazing! You have private access to the sea as well as sunbeds available. The place is very calm. It is also close to amenities (mini markets, restaurants ...). The apartment is as described and is comfortable. The view is all the more appreciable. Communication with the owner is easy and George and his wife, who welcome guests on site, are lovely people. I definitely recommend!
