Summary: Stay was great. Staff was amazing. Food from the restaurants and buffet were great. Only one issue, the swim pool needs to be cleaned more often.

Summary: They were very pushy in selling their time share that they said wasn’t a timeshare, but it was. They told us the meeting would only be 90 minutes, but we were there closer to 3 hours.

Summary: Hotel "orientation" hits you at check-in and is a thinly disguised hour+ long ploy to get you to join their paid hotel club. Intermittent harassment throughout our stay. Service providers are warm and kind people, but the service is very slow. Very, very, very slow. Took over an hour to get a pool towel after request. Some food/ drink orders never showed up at all. Beach is... disgusting. Four-foot-tall drifts of kelp, mulch, garbage, and other waste are not present on the nearby public beach, but in foul-smelling abundance here. Bonus: you can buy weed there... if that appeals to you! The food is good, but almost everyone in our group experienced some gastro-duress. I got full-blown gastroenteritis, and although broth and saltines were available in the restaurants, I could not get room service to deliver either of these items to me. I kinda wish I had bought some weed for the nausea. I can't comment on much else, as I was in bed for 3 of the 5 days there, but the time-share approach to orientation after paying $435 a night was enough to put me off from visiting again.

Summary: We truly enjoyed the stay. The property had simple lines beautifully decorated and very relaxing. Our favorite part was no children. The beach was not the best but was due to the time of the year with the sea algae. Beds are very comfortable and you get a choice of what type and how many pillows you want. Also, you get to choose the aroma therapy for the room. They only have 4 restaurants, our favorite was the Italian but Al of the restaurants have amazing food.

Summary: This was my 2nd time visiting this resort and it never disappoints. I was given a personal concierge who made dinner reservations for the entirety of my stay, she sent daily schedules for activities and messaged me every morning and throughout the day to ensure my satisfaction.

Summary: Everything at unico was good, the only bad experience i had was at a restaurant at dinner time. I couldn’t go in because I had short sleeves. I understand bout the dress code but I wish the person in charge of getting my dinner set up would have let me know. Overall all was good great hotel.

Summary: We loved everything about the property! Especially our host, Janet, who arranged all of our incredible excursions for us, and even had a nice bath waiting when we got home. We felt like every meal was delicious. There were no shortage of options and we really felt like we were living in luxury. Also recommend the excursion with zip lining ATB rides in cave swimming. Also, the Mixology class was awesome! We can’t wait to go back.

Summary: Everything on the property was amazing. Everything was very well maintained and clean. The only issue was the seaweed but I know that is not the fault of the resort. We would have liked to get in the ocean however. Our poolside waiter, Marcos, was absolutely awesome. Our concierge, Daisy, was also absolutely awesome. The restaurants were great especially the Asian place. I wish it was closer to Cancun proper so we could have gone to the markets or something like that but that was not an option. There were not many tours offered either. We wanted to go see the pyramids but there was no tour for that. The pool was also very warm, bordering on hot. I think if the resort would build some sort of shade over the pool it will make it much more enjoyable. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to my friends.

Summary: My husband and I came for a kid free relaxing vacation and the Unico 2087 did not disappoint. We got a swim out room behind one of the main pools and it was a prime location. Not super private if that’s what you are looking for. But we loved the location. The pool waiter would come by and get us drinks and food. We especially love Daniel and Saul made the best drinks. We would enjoy the main pools in the morning and head to our room pool in the afternoon. We were close enough to the main pool we could still enjoy the music. One of my favorite parts of the day was the crafts the resort put on daily. We painted sunsets and did some bead work. It was lots of fun and gave us neat souvenirs. As for the food it was some of the best food we have ever had on vacation. We tried every restaurant but our two favorites were the Mexican restaurant and the Japanese restaurant. Overall if you are looking for an adults only relaxing vacation we great food this is the resort for you.
