Summary: Staying here is a one of a kind experience, especially if you get a tent that allows you to see the night sky from bed. The tents were comfortable and had good amenities. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, and the dining options were also very good. I would highly recommend staying here.

Summary: Very friendly and helpful staff. Some battery powered equipment were not charged. It was a small inconvenience to an otherwise excellent stay. Locational is unique and breathtaking. Amenities was superb for our family stay.

Summary: A really unique experience sleeping in such a beautiful location under the stars! The tent could not have been any nicer. The bed was super comfortable, and there was a wood heated stove that was perfect for a little bit of heat. The restaurant was great! Staff was super friendly! Would definitely visit again!

Summary: Staying here was definitely an experience that we are glad we had. The location is beautiful with amazing views in every direction. We stayed in the stargazer tent and were able to see so many stars - we happened to be staying during a meteor shower week and got lucky enough to see a really good one! Overall the tent/room was really comfortable and had everything you would need. We had a king bed and while the mattress was comfortable it was VERY noisy. If you moved at all in your sleep the whole bed would squeak so needless to say we didn't have the best night sleep, but it didn't detract too much from our experience (granted we only stayed one night). Not sure if we got lucky or if all beds are like that. Super nice to have food options on the premises so that everything you need is right there and they also have fire pits/free smores which was really fun. Our dinner we got when we checked in was really tasty (we both got simple chicken strips/sandwich but tasted good quality) but the breakfast felt lackluster and overpriced. Staying here isn't cheap and I'm not sure why a bagel with cream cheese would be $9. I also got a yogurt "parfait" which was just a few scoops of plain greek yogurt with a tiny bit of granola and a few pieces of fruit on top - $14! It definitely was not a parfait but more like plain yogurt with a few toppings. So I would say skip breakfast and eat in town.... but again, we loved our experience here and are glad we came!

Summary: Great views, friendly staff, food was worth the dinner wait. The only down side was other guests not realizing near by tents could hear their fighting/drama at random times of the night… but other than that! It was perfect!

Summary: We thought everyone who worked at Under Canvas was so kind and nice. We really enjoyed the people … the tents are sunrise facing which was wonderful and the food was really tasty :) Downsides - there should be a no drones policy at the resort - as we woke up at 6:30 to a drone loudly flying over our tent. Also note there is a no cash policy here so bring small enough bills for tipping - since there is no change … Overall a fun experience … but for the cost the overall facility could use an upgrade …

Summary: The property and amenities were exactly like it was described on Expedia and on their website. I did a lot of research with reviews on several different sites and knew exactly what to expect. The poor reviews that i saw were probably because they expected something different and didn't do their research. It is a tent that will make noise in the wind and you may have to get up at night a few times to reload the wood burning stove. The staff were very quick to help out and few went above and beyond to help us. Kurt in the restaurant area was great. He was ready to help us with anything and was very engaging. John at check in and check out was also great, he offered some very good advice and ideas to do while there.
