Positive: This is a lovely place to stay in a lovely town. The property is very well located, spotlessly clean, very stylish, comfortable, quiet and has everything you need. We walked from the station and everything we needed was within easy walking distance. Check in was efficient and it was good to have a code rather than a key. Highly recommended.

Positive: The Apartment was comfortable very clean and stylish. The beds were warm and comfortable. The apartment was perfectly situated not too far from the town center with lots of boutiques, restaurants and cafes all over the area. The owner was very attentive in responding to every text quickly leading up to the trip and while we were in Mechelen. She recommended restaurants for New Years Eve and other restaurants that were high end and budget friendly. We even went to a Masquerade Ball at a Mechelen restaurant. It was fabulous. We cooked in on New Year's day since everything was closed. The unit had everything we needed. It was a perfect start to our trip through Belgium. We are lucky to have found the perfect apartment for our family of four adults.

Negative: The only thing that was a little tricky was opening the refrigerator. The handle is hard to pull for people that don't have a strong grip.

Summary: The Best New Year's Eve in Belgium.
