Enjoy 10 acres of privacy and over 500ft of Western exposure at Lazy Loon Lakehouse on Wolfe Lake. Take in the sunset from the 50 ft. deck, relax in a hanging hammock chair by the water or enjoy solitude in the cedar forest. Enjoy cooking what you catch? You'll appreciate the fully stocked pantry, fresh garden herbs and BBQ. Love spending time on the water? You'll enjoy the row boat, 4 new kayaks and swim raft. And if you cherish downtime, you'll be happy you came - this place was designed for relaxing.
We purchased this property because of the prime waterfront, quality custom home and amazing sunsets on one of the best lakes in South Frontenac. We've fallen in love with the views, the enchanted forest and the spring-fed water. And we can't wait to share it with families who value making special memories.
Lazy Loon Lakehouse brings the outside in. The upper level includes a master king bedroom with walkout to the deck and ensuite with walk-in closet, and another bedroom with two twin beds. Enjoy sunset views in the open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Customize the sleeping configuration in the walk-out lower level. Enjoy a queen master bedroom and choose a second bedroom with either a queen bed or two twin beds – the choice is yours. This area also includes a full bathroom and games room with wood stove and a ping pong table, foosball table and dart board. The only carpet is on the staircase and unlike other cottages, this super clean home also includes a HEPA filter air system with UV lights. Wifi included. Central AC. Sheets, pillow cases, duvets provided. Guests bring towels.
Outside you’ll enjoy pure privacy with trees on either side, 10 Muskoka chairs and a stone firepit with free firewood. At the water’s edge you have a small deck, a massive cedar dock with a ladder, an 8’x8’ cedar swim raft and excellent weed-free swimming and cute beach area. The lawn slopes towards lake.

Summary: Our extended family was congregating in the Westport area for a family reunion. As we are a large family we needed a few places for accommodation. There was a list of local places to check out and The Lazy Loon Lakehouse seemed to meet our requirementsWe had seen the pictures online but when we arrived we were even more impressed. The house is very well outfitted and the property impressive with an expansive lake front view. There is plenty of space to enjoy and lots of activities to keep everyone happy. The location is private and about 10 minutes out of Westport. We could have happily stayed just at the house to kayak or fish and it was well equipped for cooking and barbecuing. There is games tables downstairs as well as a plethora of board games. We however had to be out and about visiting so were unable to truly enjoy. Our property manager communicated well prior to arrival and had a printed information outline available for house management which made it easy for checking in and out It is a terrific spot with something for everyone to enjoy- would definitely recommend this property for a stay in the area

Summary: We stayed at the lakehouse with friends and family for the weekend and we are so grateful we’ve found this gem. The house was spotless, bathrooms and kitchen so clean, beds and linens fresh and like new, everything well organized. I loved that the fridge was empty and very sanitized. The grounds so well kept- and very private. Ernesta was friendly and a gracious host, even leaving my favourite coffee to enjoy. Very close to Westport and lovely walking roads and nature trails. We will definitely return to this luxury lakehouse!

Summary: My group had a fantastic stay at the lazy loon. Great location on a beautiful lake. The property is clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching movies, playing fooseball, eating great meals, swimming in the clear water and had a camp fire too. We also golfed at the local course which was excellent. Highly recommend this property! Our host was easy to communicate with and helped ensure we had a great stay. Hopefully we’ll be back again soon!

Summary: Our stay at the Lazy Loon Lakehouse was the perfect lake vacation! We were able to enjoy the beautiful lake views from the dock, roomy back porch and the breathtaking views from inside the house. Our kiddos loved the kayaks, fishing and jumping off the floating dock, and of course playing some table tennis. Ernesta was a wonderful host and really supplied everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to returning for another stay in the future!

Summary: I have 2 active young boys and in-laws who vacation with us. We can get a little loud but the property is very private even though there are neighbors. There were in enough rooms and space for all of us. My boys enjoyed playing in the big yard, roasting mashmellows and having a campfire, fishing off the dock and the game room downstairs. The kayaks were a big hit with my oldest and I. He could paddle to the floating dock and fish from there. We also did catch and release crawfish along the shore. We had no issues with docking our boat and it’s a great location on the lake. Wolfe Lake is amazing as we have been vacationing here for several years but our first time in this house. It was truly wonderful and the kids are already asking to go back next year!
