Positive: The high quality of the fittings and overall ambience. The white fluffy towels. The Welcome Pack [small white cut loaf, 6 eggs, unsmoked bacon pack, Croissants, orange juice and semi-skimmed milk] The way when we made a comment the owner very readily responded. A very lovely destination especially as the garden matures. To be recommended.

Negative: As we were having our son and his wife calling in for some dinner 4 champagne glasses, [not just two,] would have been good along with some serving spoons, dishes to serve food and a dishcloth and tea towels. There were 4 wine glasses and 4 of other crockery and cutlery.

Summary: A really superior place to stay. Far better than the average. We will be back.....
