Positive: I spent two nights here and was pleased. The room on the first floor has a comfortable double bed, TV, kettle, glasses, and juice. The bathroom is next door. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The very kind owner provides a kitchen and refrigerator with a wide selection of breakfast items, and of course, coffee from the coffee machine. I highly recommend this place, which is located in a quiet area and is an excellent base for exploring the charms of Wales.

Positive: Wonderful stay in a beautiful picturesque cottage. It was so peaceful, even though the house is on a country road, it wasn't noisy! Any cars going past, you didn't notice any noise. Jan was an absolutely wonderful host, she went out of her way to help and gave me advice and tips as I was in the area for a big walking event. Her dogs (Dalmations) are wonderful and were so well behaved! They have their own space so can be out of the way if you're not used to dogs being around. I loved them and they were a highlight of my trip! The room is extremely comfortable, and breakfast was great with lots of choice. There are pubs close by, if you want to walk there are a couple about 30 minutes away. But you can drive to most within 10 minutes. Also, morrisons supermarket is 15 minutes drive, so everything you need is a short distance away. You can be at the beautiful coast within 45 minutes, so it's location is perfect if you want to visit multiple places. Thankyou again Jan, it was a great stay!!

Positive: Jan, the housekeeper, was friendly, most helpful, and willing to do anything for us. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of her home with all the amenities fully explained to us. There was nothing we could find fault with in her beautiful and homely cottage. Tea making facilities, an abundance of towels, an excellent selection of breakfast foods, and drinks were all at our disposable. Our bed was perfect for the prevailing weather conditions, and although on a main road, we were not affected by any noise due to her double glazing fitted. We had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was selected and prepared by us in her kitchen, where place settings were laid out. This suited us fine as we were able to consume exactly what we wanted, the way we wanted it. Positive: The host was lovely and the cottage homely

Negative: Had to cook our own breakfast with ingredients left out for us. Host was vegetarian so no sausage or bacon available, was not informed beforehand. Also not there to greet us door was left unlocked to get in. When met host was asked if we liked dogs as she has 3 Dalmatians quite lively and one almost knocked me down, they came into the kitchen yet we were asked to put our shoes in a box just inside the front door!

Summary: Nice place but no pavement to walk on and right on busy road. Lovely host but wouldn't stay again
