Positive: Location is very convinient and well connected to all main attractions. Two most famous viewpoints are just few minutes up hill. Kitchen is well equiped, and staff is helpful and nice.

Negative: Extremly old and badly mainteined, doesn’t look like in the pictures at all since pictures are all bright and shiny, but in reality very outdated facility. Walls are full of cracks and stains, it looks like it wasn’t painted in a very while. Hallway is pretty dark especially at night, you have feeling like you are walking through basement and not to 2nd floor. We have been seeing, ocassionally, huge cockroach on the stairs in the hallway which made our stay more uncomfortable.

Positive: The location was excellent, and really central. I was out at night seeing fado in Alfama, so to be able to get back to the accommodation in 5 minutes was great. The flat was very comfortable and clean, and a lovely touch with the bottle of wine they left, as well as the good coffee. I'd definitely stay here again. I was able to store my luggage in the InLoveApartments office on Rua dos Remedios, only a few minutes walk away, which was reasonably priced, and the staff there were lovely.

Negative: The host did get all the information to me, and it was detailed and clear. However, I found communication to be a bit slow. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was made clear that entry instructions would be provided on the day of arrival, within the Booking.com app. But, the day before I wasn't sure how to access the flat, and the information on the booking indicated I'd get an email. When I didn't get a response to the phone calls I made by the evening before I was due to arrive in Lisbon, I was unsure if all would be okay. It was fine, but I'd say that if communication was slightly faster, and also if it was made clear that guests can expect to receive instructions for entering the flat just on the morning of the day of arrival, then I'd have known what to expect.

Summary: Beautiful flat, with great view, right in the heart of old Lisbon. Would definitely stay again.
