Summary: Chose Hotel to celebrate 60th birthdays. Great location in a lovely gardens and grounds and very peaceful. Rooms large and well equipped and staff generally helpful although welcome at Reception was very poor and rushed. Spa facilities is good and excellent treatment by Chloe in the spa. Hotel let down by poor choice of menu in the lounge for/bar. Would have liked to have seen more lighter options. Thought everything overpriced considering quality and prices way over what they should’ve been for this Star rated Hotel. We opted out and walked to vocal pub for dinners on both night, excellent and much better quality and better pricing than Hotel. We did manage to order sandwiches which were not on the menus but poor quality and poor value, a real shame. shower also pour in the room and Windows needed some Maintenance. If the Management addressed these issues, this would be a Hotel I would return to in the future.

Summary: Our flight was cancelled and we were able to get a room at the last minute. It turned out to be a very happy detour as the staff were over-the-top according, the grounds were beautiful and peaceful and the food was top-notch. I would welcome the opportunity to be “stranded” here again with pleasure!

Summary: The bellman Fabio and server Adam were great. Other staff ok but the morning front desk clerk on 8/28 tried to add a breakfast charge to our bill at the last minute that we had disputed due to poor qualit. That charge had not appeared on our preliminary review of our bill the evening before. He did remove it after some discussion but had an attitude about it. Overall the property needs serious maintenance, as it was once a glorious country manor. There were large cobwebs in all of the windows and window sills in the dining room, the pools needed significant tile repairs, and the exterior window Ledges were covered in bird excrement. Upon our arrival late on August 25th, we were shown to a third floor room with no air conditioning, filthy window ledges, and a toilet that was malfunctioning. We ordered a Caesar salad to split and a Salume board. We also were told that if we didn't sign up for the breakfast upon arrival the cost would go up by 45% if we wanted breakfast after that. The room service arrived but there was no place to sit the tray except the desk which had one chair. My friend was forced to perch on the arm of a side chair because the staff said there were no extra chairs and no extra tables to provide to us. We then had to ask for plates to split the salad because it didn't come with that in the initial delivery. It was really hot during our stay so the next morning we asked to be moved to another room and a working toilet. The staff did move us. Food awful.

Summary: The room we had needed to be updated badly no view only a brick wall. The breakfast was not very good. The staff are very nice. Not enough beds round the pool for the size of the hotel. If it's a spa hotel then children shouldn't be allowed . The hotel is very very over priced for food and drink more expensive then dubai!!!! Will not be returning

Summary: We have spent a wonderful time at Tylnley Hall, with a warm welcome. Our dinner was amazing, with delicious courses served with a perfect pace that ended with a goergeous pavlova. The room was really nice even if I have been a bit too hor, where air con would have been welcome to my taste but I like sleeping chillier that others. We enjoyed a continental breakfast with fresh fruits and pastries (thank you for the service Georgie ❤️) all well presented and tasteful. And after that what's best than some tanning next to a warm swimming pool with clean surrounding and a present and reactive staff, allowing extra rest after check out. And before leaving, early afternoon tea with delicious and generous nibbles, scones and cakes. 24 hours when we felt looked after. Thank you again for this stay.

Summary: Lovely restaurant and very nice pools and facilities. It's a very impressive we had a great time. Like other reviews, it was just difficult to have a good night's sleep as the room was so hot. We weren't staying during a heatwave or anything, but it was still very uncomfortable at night even with the windows open and with the fan they provided
