Positive: It’s peace and quiet and rural location. Lots of birds especially swallows and house martins.
Negative: Limited evening light in the grounds. I love to see a setting sun but not possible from this cottage. But mornings excellent light.

Positive: Beautiful old cottage with lots of quirky features. Isolated and peaceful but still close enough to many interesting places to visit. Very comfortable and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen.
Negative: Shower wasn't great and it was a shame there was no bath in the huge bathroom. WiFi and mobile signal were poor, but then again the cottage is in the middle of nowhere.

Positive: The cottage was full of character and has been modernised while retaining its rustic charm. Fliss is a really attentive host who is really helpful, and communicated well beforehand (even down to asking if we preferred beer or wine for a courtesy hamper). This was a much needed relaxing break and we were sorry that we were only staying for two nights. We'd love to stay again!
