Positive: Location was great. Cottage was well-equipped and comfortable. Nice outdoor space and garden. Tastefully decorated.

Negative: I couldn't get in touch with the hosts one evening but a neighbour helped me so there was no problem in the end. It wasn't easy to adjust the heating (no PIN for the temperature thermostat in lounge) and the boiler was very noisy. Despite trying to turn off the heating on the boiler, it fired up at around 5.30am (maybe to provide hot water) which woke me up sometimes. Just to be aware...there's a lot of noise from a local dairy farm (but it is the countryside!).

Summary: Lovely, well-equipped cottage not far from beaches and other attractions.

Positive: The cottage is lovely and beautifully done but bear in mind the nearest shop is around 4 miles away. That might be a shock to those who don't live in rural Wales! I was there simply because I needed somewhere to stay whilst my own house was undergoing some renovations so it was perfect for what I needed.

Negative: The main bedroom and ensuite is upstairs and very lovely BUT the windows upstairs are not double glazed. This won't be an issue in the summer or when the weather is warmer but I was there during a very cold, windy period in February and the bedroom was very cold at night. I like a cool bedroom but it defeated me so I moved into the downstairs bedroom.

Positive: location which was ok for us as we usually drive around to spend days out with the kids and was close enough to visit family nearby. Driving down country lanes was fine as they were very quiet and very few pot holes compared to South Bucks! Was offered our own parking spot opposite the cottage which was great as it made loading and unloading a doddle. Having two bathrooms was a big plus with two adults and two kids and the master bedroom was enormous. TV had plenty of Channels including Netflix and many other digital channels. House has loads of sockets, big fridge and all the facilities you could ask for, nice little garden with a patio which was a nice little sun trap.

Negative: Unfortunately there was not a local shop and the nearby pub was closed, smell of the farm nearby took a bit of getting used to but to be expected in the countryside I suppose! wife would have preferred a bath tub instead of two showers but only a minor issue as the showers were really good.

Summary: quiet location, clean and spacious cottage, the beds were amazingly comfortable, a nice little break

Positive: Lovely property. Well equipped and warm. Lovely friendly welcome and the coffee and Welsh cakes were great to have when we arrived.

Negative: Nothing really. Everything was fabulous. The beds were really comfy but if they had a bigger bed upstairs it would even better… but that’s being very picky.

Positive: It was a beautiful little cottage but with plenty of room. Lovely walks with plenty of beautiful views. Easy to get to many different popular venues and the owners, even though live next door, came to welcome us and if there were any problems, which there weren't, to contact them. We had a lovely welcome pack of Welsh cakes and coffee which was a lovely touch, thank you.

Negative: Very little about the very small village to visit, no pub/restaurant as it was up for sale but this was only a minor inconvenience.

Summary: Fabulous!
