Positive: The apartment is centrally located in Carnikava, three supermarkets close to it. Anyhow, the flat is quiet. And rather well equipped. We did not know in adwance that there is a local train station in the village just a few minutes walk away. 36-38 minutes to central Riga in a modern train for 2€. Booking.com says that check-in is possible only 15-18 but there was no problem to arrive later, the key is waiting in a coded locker next to the flat entrance. Nice view to the backyard from the living and sleeping rooms. Separate bathroom and toilet.

Negative: It was a bit chilly in the apartment when we arrived in the evening and we could not increase the heating. Probably the heating was already closed for the whole building. Next day the host promised to bring a heater but it had already become warmer. Some more spoons would have been nice. Free parking in front of the house was quite full in the evening but no problem next afternoon.
