Positive: First of all, the owners are a worderful family that have put a lot off efforts in setting up the apartments, the grounds, and all the facilities. Claudia is a fantastic person, full of energy, and always thinking about what else she can do to improve the experience. The apartments are well laid out, with outside patios that still give a sense of privacy even though they are spacious and sunny. This is a place where we could relax having coffee near the pool or explore nearby towns like Siena or Arezzo.

Positive: Very clean house, very comfortable beds that in combination with the environment make the best sleep. Claudia, the hostess, is very wellcoming and we manage to communicate with her very easily. In the house she provides you with coffee cups, a bottle of water, olive oil, tea, sugar, detergent for washing machine and dishwashing machine. The kitchen is well equipped. The wi-fi is good and quick. The garden is well tended and tidy, every house has its own private terrace in the garden with barbeque facilities. Lastly, although we didn't use the pool, it looks really nice.

Negative: Everything was great!

Positive: Quiet, peaceful, - after the crowds in Florence, a few days in the quite country side was really welcome. It was clean and comfortable, BBQ pit, pool, private outdoor area, comfortable beds. Kitchen is small, but sufficient. Oven is a little tricky until you get the hang of it. Everything well appointed to make use of the shared space, which is small, but we spent most of our time outdoors - in the garden or on the small terrace. The bedrooms are good sized and comfortable. Having the two bathrooms for 4 people was nice. You do need a car here to get around. But it's 30min or less to all kinds of towns and wineries - highly recommend the location.

Negative: There were "rules" posted everywhere that were a little off-putting, about saving water, electricity, ... do's and do-not's. But, given the lack of rain and the increasing costs of electricity in the area lately - I can understand the reasons. The English phrasing could be a bit more tactful, but I think this is mostly just a language barrier, because the hostess was really lovely.

Summary: Great - if I am ever in the area, I'd go back.
