Summary: We were looking for a rustic place to use as a base for exploring the cities and villages of Tuscany. Casa de Sol did the job. Tucked away in the middle of an olive grove and vineyard, we enjoyed the privacy, the views, and were just a five minute drive into town.

Summary: Beautiful house with all amenities needed to enjoy a beautiful Tuscan vacation. Large yard, olive trees, swimming pool, NO neighbors. Get the peace and quiet you need. Places to visit, e.g. San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, Siena, just a stone's throw away. The host, Antonella, is kind and helpful if needed. Total recommendation for Tuscany lovers! Tip: try the local produce in the small shops in La Rosa - only a few minutes to drive down the hill...

Summary: My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and it was glorious! The views are stunning, it's so quiet and relaxing with complete privacy! This little house is situated close to the beautiful town of Peccioli and there are grocery shops minutes away. Everything you would need is close by. If you want a peaceful relaxing place this is it! Antonella is lovely and helpful to! Congratulations to Peccioli on winning the Borgo Dei Borghi award this year! ❤️

Summary: We stayed there with my wife for over a week, and it was one of the best holiday experiences we've ever had, we regret that we didn't stay for longer. The house itself is beautiful, with a lot of pretty details, like you're in a magazine; and with everything you might need during your stay, and more (although a microwave would be a welcome addition; but there was a small oven which was good enough for reheating some food). It stays cool enough during the day and reasonable during the night. I don't think you'll ever need an aircon even at summer. And the house is set in a nice and huge garden on a hillside (roughly equally divided between olive trees, hillside, and wilderness), which is absolutely, totally private and isolated. Nobody can see or hear you, you cannot hear or see anybody (except for the small part at the bottom of the garden that faces another field), perfect for spending time together with your loved ones! The pool is nice and large enough; it was an interesting experience to try the pizza oven. There were mosquitoes on the terrace in the evening, but mosquito coils keep them at bay. We don't drive, and the location is very good for such a house; a beautiful village of Peccioli with all its sights and small stores and cafes is twenty minute walk away; there is a large supermarket in forty minutes walk; bus stop with connections to the train station is five minutes away. It's so much better than we expected, highly recommend, and we'll definitely return!

Summary: My wife and I wanted an authentic Tuscan experience, and this was it. It is not a 5 star, pampered guest, property, but a quiet house in the country. Exactly what we were looking for.

Summary: We had a lovely stay for three days at Antonella's place. Watching the sunset from the olive grove and baking pizza in the stone stove was amazing! Antonella was very nice and easily reachable for any wishes.

Summary: The house is not far from the small town of Peccioli it is stunning. It is so pieceful, at night all you hear is the crickets. The house is very quaint with lots of personal memrobilia. The covered area outside the house with, table & chairs, BBQ & the pizza oven is excellent. Swimming pool area is very relaxing with sun loungers. Some of the trees could be cut back a bit as you lose the sun later in the afternoon but we just moved our chairs to the other side of the house to watch the sun go down. The house is well equipped with all the utensils that you need. If you are not used to driving on Italian roads and want to visit Siena etc and your GPS sends you right at the top of the road towards Farmica ignore the directions and turn left towards Peccioli and get back onto the main road as some of the road are not for the faint hearted !!! The owner was very helpful and explained everything, we will go back, thank you
