Summary: Very dated but functional hotel that might have been a B and B in the past, but now it is just a place to stay. Very outdated and old, but surprisingly everything actually worked such as the shower, sink, toilet, bed, and air conditioner. No elevator so you need to carry up any luggage. Convenient proximity to downtown eatery's and shops. Free parking.

Summary: Although I knew there was no breakfast available, we still missed having anything available in the morning. We did use the Keurig in the room. We've stayed in many Inns and have come to expect to have something.

Summary: According to their website, Turkey Hill Inn has been family-owned for over 85 years and is now being managed by the third generation. If, like me, you are a fan of old, quaint homes, you will love this place. It is oozing with charm. The inn is located in the upper scale community of Summit, New Jersey, which is just a train ride from the cities of Newark and New York. As for the inn, I stayed in their first floor deluxe suite, which included a bedroom with king size bed, bath, and living room area complete with a microwave and refrigerator. I found the rooms to be quaint and very inviting and while I only stayed one night, it was quite comfortable. Now, given its age, you need to go into knowing this place will not have quite the same modern conveniences as a hotel. They do not offer any continental breakfast like some others do, but there is a plethora of fine restaurants and casual eateries within walking distance. The innkeeper on duty is very nice and very helpful is also usually just a phone call away if case you need assistance during your stay. If you are looking for a charming and pleasant place to relax, you will love this inn. It is a very restful place to stay. Highly recommended!
