Positive: The Tatami room atmosphere was great and the host, even though he didn't speak english, was extremely friendly and helpful. A lot of people already mentioned that, but he also made free tasty onogiri in the morning.

Negative: The aircondition wasn't in the same room, so it took quite a while until the room was well temperatured, but that's about it. If you are here to visit the Kawagoe Old Town, you either need to have a car, bicycle or take the train for 1 or 2 stops, because the guest house isn't located in the center

Positive: The host was super nice and trying his best to help. We use google translate to communicate and no issue whatsoever. House was nice and clean. We had a car and the host showed us where to park which was minute away from the property. We had a sort of onigiri (?) for breakfast which was very nice prepared by the host.

Negative: I think either some misscomunication on the description that this is a room in a house not a one bedroom apartment as advertised

Positive: The host is nice even he was not able to speak English. The house is clean and tidy.

Negative: To catch the timing of the bus to town was challenging as is not frequent.Will be good if toilet is available on the 2nd floor where we stay.
